Food is good as expected at a home town cafe nothing spectacular about it. I've eaten here through out the past ten years a few times a year. The carmel rolls are dry I've tried them three times and never again. I'm not much of a coffee drinker and I found the coffee to be very weak, more like colored hot water. It is need of a remodeling it is showing its age the booths seats have rips in them. There was a cook who came out of the kitchen and he wasn't wearing a hair net and his apron was so filthy that I was turned off from finishing my food. I once found plastic in my mashed potatoes. I ordered the breakfast combo, and everything was on point—the omelette was so light and fluffy, and the homemade sausage gravy was outrageous. My wife ordered the stack of pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and buttery. They even came with little butter balls, lmao!
