Usually a good place to eat but lately the burgers have been way off. Ordered Heinz 57 on 56 and asked for medium rare. I understand some places don't do that but they do Usually. It was burnt, pulled pork was burnt and dry as can be, maybe one line of A1 on it. Let bartender know i was very unhappy after dousing a couple bites in bbq, ketchup and mustard and still no good. I don't know of any restaurant that just takes a couple dollars off an item barely eaten to make up for unsatisfied customer. I truly believe giving good service and quality bring back people. There is some things that for sure need changing. I hope they find a way to better it because it usually is a good place. I keep giving the benefit of the doubt because i enjoy most of the employees. I'm sure i will try later later down the line. I hope this goes towards constructive criticism because the outcome should result in better quality and 110% customer service. Read moreI arrived in town exhausted and hungry after driving seven hours. I strolled into The Creek and plopped onto a barstool. The bartender was welcoming and kind. Kevin, a patron sipping a beer nearby, was quick to share some local history, and menu tips. His friend showed up soon after and did the same. The bartender made sure that I was taken care of because she saw that I was tired. I scarfed down a cup of elk chili and a house burger with fries. They were each delicious. And I left feeling satisfied, happy, with new “friends” and a full belly. I’m eager to try the bison burger next....
