Niobrara Valley Vineyards — Restaurant in Rosebud

Well I do have to admit, I am not a wine drinker, sipper or expert BUT from what I have learned from the wonderful owners about tasting and appreciating wine, I can say I will be trying more!

I tried Boss Cow (very fitting as I work in a leadership role and raise cattle). It has a great flavor that I did not find over powering. Again, no expert here but for a person who dosent typically drink wine to say it was good, well then you know it's a good wine!!! Check them out, great people and lots of different wines to choose from!...

This is a wonderful stop while traveling. We found the site on Harvest Host. We stayed the night at the 12 site RV park for $30, with water and electric. The Vineyard is great too. We had a nice dinner and wine. I had the cowboy pork chop and baked potato with a salad. My husband had burger and tater tots. Not over priced and just a wonderful dinner. Wonderful, homey winery attached to an old ranch home with a lot of history! Definately remote location in the Nebraska sandhills. The wines are delicious, labels tell a story, and much of the wood decor was harvested, milled locally. Had rare opportunity to have a meal there, mostly local cowboy patrons.
