138 Grill — Restaurant in Roseburg

I've been here several times for lunch and the food is always delicious and plentiful. Today I tried it out for dinner and the first thing that caught my attention was the security cameras. I have no problem with the cameras themselves you need to keep an eye on your business. What I do have a problem with is the motion activated LED's that flash on any time anyone in the restroom moves. It's like being high-beamed by an oncoming car from 4 directions sporadically no matter where you sit. Maybe I've never noticed because I've always been here mid-day and it's been light enough not to notice. It's a shame that such a cute place that has a nice rustic atmosphere is ruined by some security lights. I asked about moving on to the patio, but there's no heating and on a chilly fall day that was out of...

Very unfulfilling experience. Went in hoping for food and a drink before some fun. Very overpriced drinks. No service that showed they cared about their customers experience. I even had to ask for water since she never offered.

After an hour of waiting nobody came to ask if we needed a beverage refill and our food was only put on 45 minutes into being there.

When we arrived the inside was empty. We sat outside and as we go to check on our food because it’s been so long we see seating inside is now filled and they all had their food. So we were forgotten about? They only showed agitation and now apologies for our experience. Resulted in over $50 for two drinks and mozzarella sticks, along with our order being canceled. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Ok, you walk in expecting to just be an open restaurant and your are hit with a really nice atmosphere that sets the tone for a backyard nostalgia. They have this set up super cute with a rustic look.

The staff was friendly.

The burger was absolutely to die for. It was huge. I mean, someone says they had a huge burger you might thing of like a bigmac... nope not here. I ordered a bacon mushroom swiss cheese burger with lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Let me tell you what... that burger was huge. The burger meat seemed to be about 1/2 thick, they did not hold back on the veggies and then the m/m/k was just as saucy. Very big and juicy burger.

The onion rings were pretty tasty too.
