Initial Experience and Follow-Up: My recent visit to Papa Murphy's was, frankly, an awful experience. I tried to place an online order for two pizzas but was told there were no more available pickup slots. When I called at 7:30 p.m., no one answered, even though the store's closing time is listed as 8:00 p.m. Upon arriving at the store around 7:40 p.m., the employees had already put away ingredients and were ready to refuse our order. I understand wanting to get a head start on closing, but you simply don't do that an hour before closing time. They begrudgingly agreed to make us a single pizza but refused to honor any coupons or the advertised $9.99 pepperoni special. The two pizzas I had planned to order online would have cost $26, yet they charged us $19.46 for just one pizza. The way they treated us was completely disrespectful. The pizza itself was thrown together carelessly; the toppings were uneven and looked like they had been scattered on half-heartedly. The manager was already gone, so we couldn't address our complaints. I have been a loyal Papa Murphy's customer for 20 years and have never felt so disrespected. I hope the young men working that night, especially the one whose name was on the receipt, Mason, receive better training. A Manager Who Cares Thankfully, after I wrote a review online, the store manager, Hunter, called me the very next day. He wanted to hear my full account, so I had my wife explain what happened. Read moreI normally order from the Coffee location, however out of convenience this evening I ordered from this Rosedale location. I can't stress enough how disappointed i am. There was not only a lack of effort put into the making of the pizzas I ordered, but the taste after I cooked them was horrible too. The pizzas lack the normal amount of sauce, and cheese. The sauce was not only light in areas but altogether missing on other areas, and the cheese barely covered the pizzas. I normally wouldnt waste my time writing a review, but since I had an order of 5 pizzas and they were all made to the same poor and disappointing standard. He only had to give me a 10 and four 1s. And he refused. When I tried to explain to him the situation he just raised his voice to me. I don't think these young adults these days understand the importance of customer service. I think business owners need to stress the importance of customer service.
