Rosetown American Legion — Restaurant in Roseville

Usually an OK experience, but tonight SUCKED! Went to the bar, got a drink, gave them my CC and had them keep the bar tab open. Went outside on the patio, milled around, came back inside and sat at the bar for 20 minutes with an empty glass in front of me! Bartender counted her cash tips 3x while I sat there with an empty glass, people next to me got asked several times what they’d like, got their drinks refilled several times while the bartenders (3 of them) completely ignored me. It turned into a competition … how long could I sit there with an empty glass in front of me and be completely ignored? 20 minutes, as it turns out! I asked for the Manager, so that I could make the input to the appropriate level of management, they didn’t get him/her. I asked for the bill so that I could pay/close out and leave, they didn’t have my open tab, off duty bartender sitting and drinking at the bar then says, “Just leave!” Sh!t happens, I get that as I have worked in the service industry. But when it DOES happen, you try to smooth it over and make it right … you don’t p!ss on your customer base and tell them, “Just leave!” 😒 Not impressed and a LOUSY way to handle a situation that could of been smoothed over...

Gossip galore! Weird bartenders. I was told tonight by my bartender that she was a "germophobic". Strange that someone who chooses a career in bartending is afraid of germs. Her dad was sitting next to me and they ordered fish with fries. I asked if I could have a fry (they looked and smelled great) and was told only if she could fork me one. I took the fork, and tried to dip it in some sauce and was immediately humiliated by her. She told me I crossed the line. My lips never touched "said fry" nor the fork. I left immediately. I was told I was inappropriate and wrong. Well, if I do go back, I will make sure she is not working. Too...

How do I explain a 5 star review and a huge disappointment? Food was incredible! The burger is the best smash patty in town and the wings are crispy on the outside with moiste tender meat on the inside. I have lived within walking distance for over 5 years and never made it in here... And am so disappointed about nissing out!

Service was short-handed but they were absolutely great. Pleasant and courteous with a smile.

Looks expensive, right? But the burger is huge and the wings are full (even got meat on the little end bit). Worth every penny
