I visited the Suisse Chalet during one of their winter season "Bake Days." It was so fun to stop by their family farm and pick up some handmade European pastries. I tried (almost) one of everything...these pastries are INCREDIBLE. The Kouign-amann was the best I've ever had - and I've tried a lot. The pecan roll was a close second, and the canelés and tarts were all phonemical. Mari and her son Lars were lovely only added to the charm of this family-run bakery.    Read moreDon't know where to start to tell what is the best! Everything is made from scratch and even better than what you get in Europe. Tried last summer the quiches and fruit tarts. The pastry of them already is to die for. Tasty, crusty and flaky at the same time. And the toppings just delish. The cannelés are better than what I got here in Europe. They sell their goods on the farmers market and people can special order. Also tried the Beesting cake. Looking forward to my next visit to the States to get some more of...
