Charley's Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Rural Valley

The 2 of us walked in to a dim empty restaurant and weren't sure if we needed to seat ourselves or wait. As soon as we picked a small table by the window so we could see the waitress then came over and told us we couldnt sit there and moved us across the room to a smaller table that sat against a dusty closet door. Again there was NOONE else there the entire time we were there. Our view was we could see the dust inbetween the slats on the door AGAINST our table. We made the best of it, got our food, paid, and left. We kind of made it a mission to see how much stuff we could fit on that tiny tim table. We ordered appetizers, meals, desserts, drinks, asked for to go containers. The waitress kept coming over to take things off the table even. But like I already mentioned we were the only people there. The food was decent but not sure if I would return. It was higher priced and the restuarant itself was outdated and dark. When other people came in as we were leaving they picked their own table by the windows and I kind of wanted to stay to see if they were asked to move as well.

2nd time being here in 3years .... because 1st time was when we first moved up here and food we were served was average. However this visit the food way worse. Ordered a pizza on their menu says "Pizza Our Specialty". No not their Specialty at all unless you want to eat raw canned vegetables on your pizza... I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, banana pepper pizza, mushrooms and banana peppers were raw and cold out the jar, they came and got the pizza instead of remaking and cooking properly, they heated back in oven for 3 min. Still nothing was cooked. Told them I'm not eating soggy pizza u decided to just heat up. They took pizza away... never was I seen by a manager never was I asked if I'd like something different... worst pizza even more worst service I've ever seen.... if you like raw pizza then this is the place for you... if your ok with paying $20 for a raw pizza then this is the place for you.... If you want the best pizza in rual valley then go to valley village gas station because their pizza is 100 times better than this place and it's...

When we first arrived and said table of 8, they made us feel like we were putting them out. We approached our table before it was totally set up and was immediately met with a few not so nice words. The server was good. The food and bar drinks were good, but I did not see a policy sign that said gratuity added to checks of 8 ppl or more. I felt like the decision was made based on observation of our party to automatically add gratuity. Our server would have made out by at least 9 percent more had she not added her tip.
