I gave this place three chances. The first time it was great. The girls working behind the counter were nice, friendly, and efficient. But the other two visits were not good at all. I ordered online and waited about 45 minutes for two pizzas. The women at the register (I assume the owner) stated that two orders came in at the same time and they were busy. I've worked at restaurants for SO long. If two tickets back up your kitchen to have 45 minute ticket times, something is not right. I really think they ignored my ticket at first and when the second one came in, they went into chaos mode. She wasn't very apologetic either. It was like she wanted me to feel bad that they were so slammed with two orders. During the second visit, the food was ready on time but the same women behind the register made weird comments. I asked for ketchup and she gave me a dirty look and said "It comes with our house sauce and if you use ketchup I think your crazy." I'm eight months pregnant. If I wanted to eat ice cream and sweet potato fries, she should have smiled, said "Sounds great!" and packed up my stuff. It was just really rude. I...
Read moreWe tried this place for takeout a few nights ago. It was getting late and places were starting to close and we were running out of options. I had Kitchen on the Corner on my list to try for quite some time because I continually heard good things about it on the Nextdoor App.Tonight was going to be that night because they were open until 10pm on Friday nights instead of closing at 9pm like many local places do around us. Wow, were we pleased with everything about this place! We ordered a large pepperoni mushroom pizza to split and a chicken Caesar wrap for my college aged son. It was ready right on time with friendly service at pick up. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered! The pizza was hearty with lots of wonderful cheese - no skimping there! The crust is unique in its own way but delicious! My son said his wrap was âreally good" as well! Yes itâs located in a gas station but it is a far cry from what kind of food you would think they would make at a gas station. Try it! You will be glad that you did! I am already thinking of when we can order another pizza...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped here for lunch and a fill up. I got the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and she got the southwest wrap (which I took a few bites of), and the food is really good. It's cheap, but the quality is not. I always love eating on a patio in the summer too. We're not in the area often, but when we are again, we want to try the smash burger and chicken/waffle combo. The chef wanted us to taste test 2 sauces he's considering putting on the smash burger, and both were really good, but I used it for dipping the fries in. Very friendly service. It's genuine. Oh, and they also have a ton of local/independent goodies you can buy near the register. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite but something really good. Nothing can beat quality and care. They put...
