This was our first time here and it won't be our last. After installing the floor graphics at Phil Campbell High School's gym, we were hungry.

On the drive back to Sheffield, we decided to stop here for dinner. She got her usual chicken taco salad and I got one of my favorite, the carnitas (although I was debating between the chili colorado and the huevos con chorizo). One thing we really loved about this restaurant was how rustic and classy it is.

Sorry, I'm a graphic designer so I notice and appreciate these things.

The chips were hot and fresh, she really liked that they brought out a thing of salsa that she could pour as needed (truthfully, I'm not a salsa guy), and the cheese dip was had great flavor.

Our meal arrived quickly and the service was excellent! Everything tasted great, it was hot and fresh, and when we left we talked about it and said we needed to come here more often, even though we don't live in Russellville.

Thank you, Rancho Viejo of Russellville for making our night a...

I wouldn’t have left this review if it wasn’t for the managers lack of concern for my order mistake. I wasn’t calling for anything other than to offer there business feed back on there employees performance. Unfortunately after asking for just a lettuce and tomato salad and made it clear nothing else since this has happened before with the same order, it happened again. I told the manager very politely what happened and I didn’t ask for nothing other than to let his employees who made the mistake to pay better attention to what the customer is asking for, but unfortunately all he had to say was ok, thank you. I felt as a manager you should care for the business and appreciate my help in bettering there service and offer a apology or even showed concern, but nothing very dry and took what I said with a grain of salt. I’ll still order here food is great, but I’m just gonna need to check for now on before leaving...

I called to inform them that I would be coming with about 10 guest. When we arrived, they wouldn't seat the 1st 3 at a table to seat 10 but a table to seat 4 people. I ask why they wouldn't give me an answer. They got very disrespectful!! They talked to me very ugly. They said I was lieing about calling. The manager came out and continued to disrespect me. Telling me I could leave!! The ONLY reason I didn't was because I had invited other people because we were there to celebrate a birthday. It was a very BAD EXPERIENCE!! I WILL NOT BE BA CK!!! There are other Mexican restaurants in town that are as good AND...

The best Mexican food I’ve tasted after years of extensive travel, this place is a hidden gem in the rolling cow pastures of Alabama. The classic vibe you want to feel homey and happy, drinks made to order, super fast and friendly service, authentic decor, and an owner who will go out of his way to accommodate even large rambunctious parties like ours, do yourself a favor and put this on your Must Try list while traveling in Alabama.

Fajitas were extrremely bland. I do not believe a spec of seasoning was sprinkled to it as it was prepared. The shrimp was plump and juicy however without the proper spices it had such a raw fish taste and smell I could hardly choke it down. Then requested very light jalapeños to be cooked with the mixture, which added a $1.50 to the total for three ⅛ inch slices.
