It's been a while since I've been able to post a review - I am only posting top rated experiences.

What a foodie find.

Walked up to order at the window, was greeted by one of the friendliest people ever. On the chalk board, they had a brisket sandwich for $8. Yes. EIGHT. If you're waiting for the -teen behind the eight, it ain't coming.

Tried the onion straws and washed it down with a sweet tea.

Ticket time was prompt.

It was a 94° lunch break, but the dining patio felt PERFECT. I wasn't even "warm".

These are the foodie experiences I enjoy sharing - environment, service and food all coming together. In this case, it's a "family barbecue" experience.

Put this on your list if you haven't gone. I can't wait...

I absolutely love this place!!! And the family that owns and runs it are just awesome! Very sweet friendly people. I wish they were in a little better location sometimes because it can be crazy trying to get in and out of there, because they ARE literally, as their name says, at a busy corner area where traffic comes from every which way but loose,LoL! But I'll tell you this much, ... IT IS absolutely worth it once you do, ... because the service, the atmosphere, AND, the food of course! Especially if you love a good ole country breakfast like I do and barbecue and such, ... ARE GREAT!!! And you CAN NOT beat their prices! I'm telling you. I give them 2 thumbs up for...

This is a not so hidden any longer gem! In my opinion, it's the best BBQ in the area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They cook to order, so it takes a few minutes to get your food. They do have a covered fresco eating area partially screened with ceiling fans. They give you a pager to alert you to come get your food. Everything else I have tried is equally as good. I'm a pretty big hotdog nerd, and they have a great one with homemade slaw, chili, and grilled franks. They have unconventional hours, so check before going over. But do your sled a favor and help keep a local small...

This place may be a landmark where it is located but it should never have put BBQ in it's name. When I see a place with BBQ in it's name I think they must specialize in BBQ. This place serves BBQ that surely came out of a tub and you can clearly tell that. It was real salty and no smoky flavor at all. It tasted like Lloyd's BBQ in the tub. The wait was long, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the trash cans were overflowing. I did like their slaw and hushpuppies though.

The biggest con I've ever encountered. We spent 19 dollars on 2 bbq "plates" that consisted of a spoon full of barbecue and a spoon of coleslaw and two sodas. I've never been so disappointed in my life. If you're just showing up for taste, it's alright. Size wise they are making an outstanding profit off the backs of the community. Even subtracting our drinks the 6.50 a plate is ridiculous.
