It's been a while since I've been able to post a review - I am only posting top rated experiences.
What a foodie find.
Walked up to order at the window, was greeted by one of the friendliest people ever. On the chalk board, they had a brisket sandwich for $8. Yes. EIGHT. If you're waiting for the -teen behind the eight, it ain't coming.
Tried the onion straws and washed it down with a sweet tea.
Ticket time was prompt.
It was a 94° lunch break, but the dining patio felt PERFECT. I wasn't even "warm".
These are the foodie experiences I enjoy sharing - environment, service and food all coming together. In this case, it's a "family barbecue" experience.
Put this on your list if you haven't gone. I can't wait...

They cook to order, so it takes a few minutes to get your food. They do have a covered fresco eating area partially screened with ceiling fans. They give you a pager to alert you to come get your food. Everything else I have tried is equally as good. I'm a pretty big hotdog nerd, and they have a great one with homemade slaw, chili, and grilled franks. They have unconventional hours, so check before going over. But do your sled a favor and help keep a local small...
