We decided to try something new in out area, and we picked Jameson's. At first, we called the Crystal Lake location, but they basically said there wasn't any room for the party of 9 on Sunday at 3pm. So, I called the Huntley location, the hostess was very nice, and she made a reservation for us. The table was ready when we got there which was great! The table had a nice view; too bad the weather was cold and rainy, otherwise we would have taken a walk after dinner! And now, the service was mediocre, at best. Our waitress mixed our wines, she had to go back to check what she wrote at the time to confirm if she brought us the correct wines. She forgot our waters, and we got no bread. She also did not collect our menus from us...We waited for a while for our appetizer (potato skins, very good!),but when it finally arrived, the entrées followed about 3minutes after. We then realized that we never got our salads and soups. The waitress explained that because it took so long for the appetizer to make, she thought it would not make sense to bring us salads (?). She said she thought it would make more sense to pack them to go. The kids got no lettuce/tomato in their burgers even though they ordered them. Anyway, we asked for manager, and he apologized for service. Apparently, the waitress was new and clearly not greatly trained. The manager did compensate us with a gift card which was very nice and unexpected. I have to say that the food was really good! The baby ribs special, chicken marsala, and filet with shrimp were all great,no complains. Everything was well-seasoned and freshly made. We will definitely be back, hopefully we get a more experienced server...

This is the Sun City location. It is housed in the main lodge near the golf course. Portion sizes are different than other locations, I've been told many times. Open to the public... not just Sun City residents. Went recently for lunch. Service was okay. Our appetizer showed up after our salads and entrees (both yummy) did. We had to ask twice for the appetizer and wound up taking it home. It wasn't all that good once it was microwaved back to life, but we couldn't exchange it at that point. We learned from a supervisor the app order was placed WITH the entree order... and not earlier. While apologies were offered, time remains a non renewable resource.

There was no handicapped parking available... all of the spots were occupied by residents, other diners or golfers... and no valet service was visible. The distance one of us had to navigate with a walker was almost TOO challenging.

Burgers at the bar are okay and reasonable. Several of the Whisper Creek golfers stop there after playing 18 holes. Course is also open to public, fyi.

I've had dinner there occasionally, all just a little heavy handed on the salt. And they do cater affairs very nicely.

I am glad Jamesons has been able to come into this setting and make the operation profitable, which played into my decision to go with 4 stars over 3. Sun City benefits from having this restaurant within the confines of the community.

8/19/18 attended a 60th anniversary party held within the restaurant. Food was their banquet food, which was very good. I ordered a beef entree medium. The waiter didn't tell any of us we could not specify the "temperature" until the food was...

My date and I were seated but then not acknowledged again for over 10 minutes. Our server asked our drink order and then vanished for another 10 minutes. When our server returned, she asked our order, without once mentioning the specials. She also failed to ask if we wanted to start with appetizers. We had to ask for them ourselves. Our appetizers arrived and were good. Then, our soups/salads arrived. At this time, our server informed us that there was no bread available to accompany our soup/salad. After being there almost an hour, our entrees were brought out. My date's steak was good where mine was well overcooked. Our sides were mediocre, at best, and we were never offered another drink. Our server's attitude was horrible. The restaurant was not busy. It was an early Saturday evening. There were plenty of employees seen moving about, two of whom were continually making out in full view of the dining area, yet recieving service from the staff seemed like an inconvenience for them. I am unsure as to why my date and I were treated as such. Customers around us seemed to be enjoying their evening quite well. We were well dressed, well mannered, and hadn't ordered cheaply. The only thing I can think of is that because we are in our mid 40s, we were treated as outsiders, as this location is in the heart of Sun City. We will not return to this location again. We prefer to be treated with respect. For the money I spent that evening, that's really not...

Once again I have to say this place is great! The atmposhpere and the food are always great. Tonight we had the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer, so good! We always have our usual which is Parmesan crusted Seabass and the Parmesan crusted chop steak. The food was absolutely delicious! What I am most impressed about is the service. We always have our regular Michelle who is so kind and very attentive and one of the best! Got to meet Elissa tonight who is in charge all of the events and and was excited to meet her since I am having a bridal shower for my daughter this summer! Her and Walter have been so helpful in the planning. I am very impressed with her and her staff and how things are run! Can't wait to host our event there. I can't say enough about this wonderful place with their excellent staff and delicious food. Not to mention it comes with a spectacular view!

Never realized there was a Jameson's in Del Webb! Great location, giant open dining area with vaulted ceilings. Nice and bright! The food was very good and we found something that everyone can enjoy. Two complaints: the speed of service and the temperature of our food. Our server was friendly, but very slow. I noticed another 4-top near us in another section that had people eating when we were seated. While we waited for our entrees, the 4-top left, a new group was brought in, they ordered, got apps, and got entrees before my table for our food delivered. We ordered chopped steak (which was overcooked), a patty melt (which was good, but overcooked), and fettuccine alfredo (which is my go-to for reheatability). The next day i reheated my pasta and the sauce completely separated and made my kitchen smell yucky. May or may not return to this location.
