This place is a carniceria with a kitchen/restaurant in the back. You order and pay at the front, and then given a piece of paper with your order written on it. Go to the back and hand it to the lady through the window (kitchen) and wait for your order. They seemed to be out of a lot of stuff - no tripas, no lengua, no agua frescas. I ended up ordering a chorizo quesadilla and some tacos (carnitas, suadero, al pastor, buche). Sadly, I was greatly disappointed. - Chorizo Quesadilla: Terrible. It was soggy/oily AND the chorizo was really sour. Had to throw this away. - Carnitas Taco: The meat crispy from being so dry. It's like the meat sat out and they peeled the top layer off to serve. - Suadero Taco: Tender, but the tortilla was soggy. - Al Pastor Taco: A little dry. - Buche Taco: The best of them all - the meat was nice but the tortillas were not good. Overall, no bueno and I can't recommend based on my experience.

Great service and great food. I love ordering their Sopes they have the best ones in the area hands down. All other menu items are also great. Their Suadero meat is so yummy. Sometimes they also have these little Peruvian bread freshly made that they have by the register that is soooooo good. They have a lot of variety of treats and candy

Unfortunately, after 8+ years of coming here I will never return. I understand you said it was “a little more expensive” but charging $18 for a beer because it’s made in Mexico without telling me the price first is absolutely absurd. Considering you yourself would never pay that price. That alone says bad things about you. On top of that, the carnitas and steak tacos were like chewing on rubber bits. I had to chug the beer just to swallow every bite without choking.

I used to come here and the abuela used to great me with a smile full of gold teeth and make the best food. Her cooking would feed my soul. This place has fallen so far from those days it’s sad. I wish you guys the best but charging gringo prices will surely lead to you guys closing. Even if it’s tariff prices, I deserve the decency and respect of knowing the price before purchasing something that I know to be a norm within a certain price range. Based on you mentioning it was more expensive I thought it would’ve been reasonably expensive not a luxury tax item.

It’s too bad. Over the years I’ve brought friends and family from all over the world here. Now it’ll just be a memory, one I’ll keep...

These people tried to poisson me. Gave me old chicken on my tacos and then tried to refuse to give my money back. Chicken was nasty and smelled, dry and tasted like it was in the refrigerator for weeks. I’ve been a paying customer for a long time but never have a been given old food like this and the fact she knew it was old and tried to refuse a refund is crazy. I will never go back here again. When a business try’s loyal customers like this it says a lot about...
