The Goat Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Sadsbury Township

My husband and I dine at the G. O. A. T. for dinner but the afternoon I'm reviewing, we were with a group of about 36. The food was good and the few servers they had did their best to keep up with our requests. They just didn't seem prepared for us!! They had us in a number 7 design and the back tables were literally up against the wall!! The tables that went from north to south on the right couldn't easily be moved to move the tables that were against the wall. The chairs were right up against each other leaving no room to move whatsoever. There have been large groups present when we were there for dinner and they were configured So the diners would be comfortable!! It was very awkward and people were really upset about not having any room!! When we first walked in and pretty much up until we started receiving our food, there was a strong scent of pine-sol which was not appetizing at all!! I'm not sure our group will choose to go back unless we can be assured of a different seating arrangement and that the cleaning will be done well in advance of our arrival. NOT rating the actual restaurant because I ate at their building during fair week. I was pretty excited to try their wings and something entirely different that our fair generally offers. They had 6 wings for $6. Still a crazy price for wings that never came down due to Covid. Took the chance and ordered some plus a basket of fries. The fries were delicious and the basket was heaping full. Two people could share for sure. The wings, I presume were precooked, were mediocre. Two flavors were ordered, butter n garlic and GOAT). The butter n garlic were really lacking flavor. Seriously like little to no garlic at all. I had to salt both the wings and sauce. The GOAT sauce was better but not a sauce I would order again. Regular hot sauce was not an option at the fair. They had several "sweet" sauces but not just plain hot sauce. Wings were very small as well. Maybe some time soon I will get out to their restaurant and try the wings there to compare. Just wasn't too satisfied with what they offered at our local fair. Maybe next year will have...

I’ve dined in and i’ve gotten food to go. The first time i got food to go it was amazing. The second time we got food to go it was horrid. It was embarrassing to us because we got food to go for our friends and talked up a big game about how awesome the food was, brought it home and the salad had 4 pieces of steak charred to the point i couldn’t even chew it. (everyone has a preference) i on the other hand like mine to be med rare. The food we got for our friends was also very poor. They didn’t give us something we paid for. Said they had items they didn’t have and upon arrivals of picking up the food they said they gave us something other than what we had ordered because they didn’t have what we wanted. But over the phone they said they had it. Any time we’ve eaten in they never have the food we want.
