Dilly’s is a bar and grill so atmosphere is what it is. Food was awesome. First time for the tree of us including one teen. We had three different dishes and an appetizer. Beer battered mushrooms were hot and crispy and delicious. One shrimp Po Boy was excellent with plenty of shrimp and fresh veggies. Chicken tenders got a two thumbs up from our teen expert. Burger was a double with bacon and egg was tough to finish it was that big but was so good plate was finished except for fries on all three orders. Fries were freshly cut and very good but main dishes were so large we could not finish. We will order Vegetable options sides next time we visit. We will be back. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was recommended by friends and we did not know what to expect. We were very pleased family owned and local which is alway a plus for us....
Read moreThis is my second experience with Dilly Bar, and it's ok. I called, the lady (who answered) asked me to wait and never came back to the phone. I listened to bar noise for 5 minutes and I hung up. When I called back, the line was busy for another 15 minutes (I tried to call back every few minutes to check). A lady answered, took my order and then asked if I had trouble calling. I told her that the line was busy for 15 minutes and she said that they couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. She was going to have someone check the line. My opinion is that the phone was off the hook.
They sell bar food. We ordered a half pepperoni/half chesse pizza. They only make one size. It was a little burnt on top, which we didn't ask for but didn't mind. It tasted fine. We also ordered wings with Spicy D's sauce on it. It was a tad spicy, but tasty.
I would like to try some of the other items...
Read more2 middle aged female servers/bartenders were the absolute worst I have ever dealt with in a bar/restaurant atmosphere. Extremely rude and abrasive. They slammed drinks and silverware on the table as if they were in a fit of rage. I sat at the bar with an empty beer since half time of the playoff game and she did not ask me for a beer until after the game ended. Over 2 hours of having an empty beer. It was pulling teeth to get any level of service from these two women. I will be making a formal complaint with the owner it was that poor of an experience. In the first half of the game there were a bunch of children yelling and throwing pool balls at each other and the servers did nothing to stop it. But when we celebrated a touchdown for 10 seconds she yelled at us saying we are being too loud at a sports bar during an NFL...
