El Paso Grill — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

I've eaten & raved about the food BUT.... on a recent visit on July 2,18, I ordered take out, my receipt said $18.31, I chatted with a nice bartender who took & rang me up, he left to assist other customers, a lady came from the back & bagged my order, when I got home the food was GREAT, then I noticed sum small dead insects in the bag, I called just to notify them ( still wanting to revisit, not requesting ANYTHING) the women who identified as the manager appeared defensive when I told her of my findings, on today I noticed a charge of $19.51, instead of the $ 18.31 I guess SOMEBODY gave themselves a Lil $1.20 tip???? No bashing, just letting others be aware! UPDATE: On 11/14/18, I called this establishment asking the closing time (Family requested) was told the time, hung up & a couple minutes later I received a call from a lady identifying herself as the owners daughter. The lady said she was calling to " straighten out" my review I wrote 4 months ago. Initially I thought " how nice" she went on to say the man I said waited on me & kept a unauthorized tip would "never do that, it must've been a problem with your card". I thanked her & said "have a nice day" she said "You gave us a bad review and I don't appreciate you as a customer" SO BLAME ME COS I...

Absolutely amazing!!! We’re from Arizona So I know authentic and we were visiting my sister and she had took us to this little spot. A bit different but oh my god is the food amazing. The rice taste exactly how my grandmother who passed away used to make so I had to talk to the cook. She and our waiter were very friendly and she explained the process of their everyday freshly homemade rice that I am in LOVE with. I wish I could take some back lol. Defiantly give this place a try and as for the negative review I paid much less for large basket of chips and salsa definitely no 7 dollars. You can’t blame people for having Taco Bell standards when it’s all they know, I mean they are on every corner here. Anywho, give this place a try and I highly recommended...

The service and food here is excellent! We came at lunch and the waiter was either ready to help us when we needed or at least told us he would be with us as soon as he helped another guest he was already tending to. The food was delicious as well. I had shrimp tostadas and my boyfriend had the hand rolled puffy taco. The tostadas had a spicy sauce with salsa with spiced shrimp. While a lot of spice, it really wasn't too spicy and was very fresh tasting. The hand rolled puffy taco was a large deep fried taco shell with shredded chicken, lettuce, and cheese. The taco was fluffy and the chicken was seasoned well and not dry. I will definitely be coming back in the near future to try what else they...
