We arrived at 7pm with a party of 7. The place was not crowded, in my opinion. There were a decent amount of tables empty for a Saturday night. 3 in my party walked in before us, and they were JUST being seated inside at the first table by the host desk when my husband seen them & requested to be seated outside. This immediately seemed to be a bother to the staff. To me, it’d be one thing if they had already been waited on but they were sitting for seconds when we walked in. The majority of the crowd was outside, so we were told there would be a wait. That’s expected. We were totally okay with that. Anyways, trying to give the benefit of the doubt and enjoy our Saturday night, we were seated outside & actually had no wait. We were in such good spirits. Our waiter came over, took our drink order which was 6 waters, 1 milk (for the 2 year old with us) Now mind you some of our party drove 2 hours to come eat here, we were in no hurry nor did we care about time. We were enjoying visiting. Our waiter comes back and proceeds to take our beverage order. 1 Michelob ultra, 1 margarita, 1 uncle Dave’s lemonade, 1 IPA beer with a shot of tequila (this was for my husband), and a pain buster, and we are well over 21. My daughter didn’t even order a drink. Soon as he comes with the drinks, the waiter looks at my nephew and asks “are you driving?” My nephew replies “No buddy this is my first beer all day.” Which was true. But bothered by the fact he was just questioned by the waiter completely sobered and felt as if it’s none of the waiters business. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 people took the two year old to play in the water like other kids there. Food came which was fabulous. All was well besides the fact our waiter just seemed so disturbed by us. Close to 8pm the waiter reappears to take our dinner order, 6 crab boils and 1 pasta. At this time, my other nephew attempted to order a shot, & my husband asked for another beer and this when the tables turned. The waiter denied to serve us anymore alcohol after one drink each. He stated upper management said our party had enough to drink ???! Now nobody had been belligerent, nobody had been rude, totally were acting like other guest who had several drinks on their tables. We were completely baffled by the waiters decision. So we kindly said welp if you won’t serve us drinks we will leave, asked for our check, spoke with a manager, she stated the waiter has a right to refuse to serve if he feels people are impaired. After one drink nobody was impaired, drinking water and eating appetizers with a hour in between alcoholic beverages request didn’t seem bad, If one alcoholic beverage is all that will be served there, then there should be sign up or have hostess tell this before seating guest. Unbelievable actions from Aunt Kate’s. We gladly went to another local seafood restaurant nearby & had no...

The setting here is absolutely beautiful. I loved eating out of their balcony overlooking the water. Very, very nice. During our wait for our seats, we had our buzzer and was walking beside the water. Very wonderful. Every employee beside one was very mean though. I don't know if those girls was having a bad day or what, but they wasnt nice. We gave her a 20$ tip, despite the food. We usually give 20$ tips. She was very nice after that, I hope it helped her. The burger was extremely bland. I tasted the lettuce more than the meat. My husband said the same. The Mac n cheese though was the BOMB, and their fries was awesome. I'd go back only for those two. The biggest issue was that the food was nearly cold. The caesar salads was incredibly expensive, but luckily they was super fresh. Mine had one big rotten piece in it but the rest was tasty, crispy and awesome. Super tiny salads though. During the wait though and after we got back outside, I noticed a dog. I found out after asking a man if he knew who's dog it was, and he said it was his, like he already knew why I was asking, and he was bowed up like he was ready to fight. I just said okay, and told him I got fire ants off of him and his hair is falling out. He didn't care. The dog looks sick. Maybe has mange or something. He is an overweight, old golden retriever(looked mixed with lab maybe) Very sweet. His hair was falling out, alomost naked on one side, and he was covered in fire ants and was in serious pain. I got them off of him. The man didn't care. If yall care for yalls business, I would do something about that man and his abuse towards that poor old dog. He cared more about fishing...

Absolutely horrible! I have never had worse service. I contemplated for a few weeks making this post because I didn’t want to be so negative but after my family member could have been so hurt physically I decided to make sure others are careful. Especially if you have a food allergy. We had family come in from TN and wanted to eat some seafood restaurant. We decided to go here. We came a hour and half before closing and had a male teenager /young adult waiter. One of my family members ordered a sandwich and asked for no bacon as he has severe stomach issues when it comes to certain food. We had also ordered 3 kids meals. The whole time we were there are drinks were never refilled. We had to get up and go to the bar to have our own drinks filled. Then when my family members food came out it had bacon. No big deal! He simply asked for it to be redone because it was a severe reaction and he could not eat it. The waiter takes the food and within 20 seconds comes back and hands his plate back. He had simply just taken the bacon off. We asked him and he said “the kitchen is closed for the night”. Mind you the restaurant still had families eating and was still not close to closing. I then noticed that a kids meal was not there so I asked if my kids meal could be brought out. The waiter once again said “I’m sorry I won’t add it to your bill. The kitchen is closed” even though I ordered it with the rest of my food. So one of the kids never got there food so we asked for a plate to give him some of ours.

When we left no one apologized or said anything. The food was cold and the service was absolutely horrible. I recommend...

Was a little nervous about this place because some reviews were a little harsh, but I had a great experience. We were seated quickly, and once we were given our server, it was probably only 15 minutes before we had all of our food and drinks. We were still eating our appetizers when the entrees came! We got the cocktail shrimp to start, just note they’re served warm, but it’s delicious. They put a good amount of seasoning on the shrimp and the cocktail sauce tasted homemade. It’s not like regular cocktail shrimp, those bore me… I’d order these again. We then asked for cornbread, and our server brought us an assortment of cornbread, pumpkin bread and some type of sweet cornbread biscuit (I’ve forgotten the name of it!) some of the most decadent and moist pumpkin bread I’ve ever had, it was falling apart in my hands. We got low country boil and the fish tacos as entrees. Lots of food in the seafood boil. The tacos were great too, I was thinking about getting them already, but the server said that was his favorite thing on the menu and it convinced me. I thought the beans and rice were going to be basic and out the can, but I was WRONG! They had some delicious flavor on them. Everything was well seasoned. Overall great atmosphere and it’s reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and the view. We sat outside, and the squirrels were very playful! The location reminds me of the low country, with influences of Savannah or Hilton Head. Great sunset. Go if you’re in the area!

Place is located in a gorgeous location by the riverside in Vilano Beach. At the hostess booth there’s a signing informing to the patrons to be patient due to the restaurant being short staffed. We were given a buzzer and had to wait. We could see there were available tables but the staff was clearly overworked and making the efforts to attend the clientele even being shorthanded. No problem because there’s a lot to enjoy outside. We ask for a pint of beer and actually received a pitcher to our surprise. So there was a miscommunication but our server informed that we wouldn’t be charged for the pitcher but for the pint. She was very polite and we could tell that all staff members were very courteous to all. We ordered the seafood plate which consisted of a crab cake, a piece of mahi, 4 shrimp and three scallops besides 2 sides. Seafood was to be grilled but several pieces came a little bit charred to our taste. The price was $32. Honestly I was expecting a bigger (not oversized) portion. So, for the food standpoint this plate was below our expectations. The menu is extensive. Maybe we can return in another opportunity and give another try in the restaurant’s dishes. Again our compliments to our server to be accommodating regarding the beer misunderstanding and for her overall good service.
