My husband and I ordered pizza for delivery at a local hotel. We are not from the area, but had heard about Gambinoās from some friends, so we decided to order. We ordered a 1/2 beef & mishroom, 1/2 beef medium pizza and a small Hawaiian pizza. Upon receiving our order, the delivery driver told us the website is incorrect so the total was incorrect. Also, our pizza was incorrect. We received a 1/2 mushroom, 1/2 beef pizza. We called to inquire about correcting the order. We were offered 20% off our next order, which we declined since we are not from the area. Then, the manager offered to replace the pizza āif they had time.ā We said, yes thatās fine; we could wait. 2 minutes after hanging up, the manager called back and told us we ordered incorrectly, and ordered a 1/2 mushroom, 1/2 beef. So, we pulled up the email receipt and read to the manager that the receipt clearly states: whole toppings: cheese & beef. 1st half toppings: mushroom. (Wouldnāt that mean the whole pizza has cheese and beef, and only one half has mushrooms...?) The manager offered no explanation as to how we ordered incorrectly, just continued telling us we were incorrect and they would not replace the pizza. Clearly, there are issues with the website as per the delivery driver. However, telling a customer they are wrong, with no explanation, is bad business practice. Their coolers are broken and don't hold to temperatures that reduce the growth of bacteria.
Their buffet line heaters don't hold food at temperatures high enough to kill bacteria, and can cause foodborne illnesses.
The owners know that their equipment is unsafe and choose to save money and cut costs by not fixing and replacing these items.
They don't rotate and replace bad out of date stock properly, and serve items that have already spoiled.
They don't wear gloves when prepping ready to eat items like sandwiches and salads. No one wears a hair net.
They don't train their workers on food safety principles or require them to get a Food Handlers card.
Multiple people have complained about being I'll, having upset stomach and diarrhea after eating here. The workers get sick when they eat items from this location for lunch.
And their new manager used to work on the gas station side, and she is well known as a racist.

I showed them my confirmation email and they offered to fix it. It would only take 8 minutes. I offered to pay the difference. They told me to pull around front and they'd bring it out. I pulled around front. 20 minutes later I called to see if the new pizza was ready. They apologized and said they'd bring it out.
