Steamboat Grill — Restaurant in Saint Maries

Patio view is great and fry's are good. I hear the burgers are ok but haven't tried. That said trout dip was 3/4 mayonnaise and a few chunks of trout. TERRIBLY!!! Coleslaw was flavorless. I would be afraid to try the Ahi Tuna. Drinks are super watered down and not creative. I was hoping a huckleberry cocktail in Idaho would have actually huckleberry's. The entrée menu is four items of which two are Asian dishes which is fine but not really ideal lakeside menu items. Steak, trout or salmon and pasta would be nice additions to the entrees. Excellent service, and the food and drinks were exceptional! They are under new ownership or management and what a difference! Plus they are usually closed right after labor day, but now they are staying open until the middle of October! Which makes us very happy as we are fortunate enough to live right across the lake. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I wanted an over priced menu with very limited options, I would just stay at the north end of the lake and eat at one of the Hagadone establishments.
