We had an awkward experience when we last went out for dinner here- the staff was watching the TV right above my head, which made me feel like they were staring at my face the whole time- I didn't care for that. And when we'd try to wave them down to get their attention, they wouldn't notice, because they were watching the TV. Then, the staff started cleaning up the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. They were spraying heavy cleaners, making it difficult to stay and enjoy the rest of our meal. We were all feeling pretty awkward about the situation, as we were hoping to order another round of margaritas, and some dessert. It seems silly to complain about the smell of cleaners, but it was so strong and really did effectively drive us out of there. It was just a bad enough experience where all 7 of us decided we didn't appreciate it, and aren't interested in scheduling another meet up there, because we're afraid it may happen again- Not our idea of a good time. Also, every visit prior to and including this one, we had the awkward experience of at least one of us, but sometimes 3 or 4 of us having our orders wrong. Wrong orders seem to be their signature move. It's pretty odd that they can't get them right. And that makes for a negative experience in and if itself every time. The food is pretty good though. Silver Lake KS.... This is the best kept secret. If you haven't stopped here, you don't know what you are missing! This place is the best for not only real authentic Mexican food, but the seafood chimichangas are to die for! Never have I eaten a better one anywhere. They don't use fake lobster; this is the real stuff people. And it's packed full, not just a measly amount; filling the rest with beans and/or rice. It's full of seafood! Exactly as described. This is the 2nd time I've been in here, but I am definitely making this place my NEW (only) place for Mexican food. You've probably driven by 100's of times on Hwy 24. I know everytime I go by, my mouth waters because I remember last time I ate here, how delicious it was. And their margaritas?? Ohhhh yeahhh you won't be disappointed there either. Amazing! The food was good. The service is good. I deducted a star because I was not asked what kind of tortillas I wanted with my fajitas. I was brought flour. I sent them back asking for corn. I was brought flour again. This time I got up from my table to look for assistance because I had waited too long before. I finally got my corn tortillas but my food was not hot anymore. I was already done eating my rice and beans while waiting for the right tortillas. I was not too happy about that.
