Stopped in Friday, April 18, after golf, no reservation. Even though it was prime time, we were seated and the hostess returned immediately with our drinks. I ordered cod, my son had walleye. It was there in no time flat. To correct a previous review, we're both from Illinois, we were well treated, the server was very cordial, there is plenty of parking, the food was delicious and the fish dinners both included a nice slice of marble rye bread. We were invited here by friends, because they absolutely love the fish fry. But each of us ordered something different and all of the dishes served were so delicious. The atmosphere is quaint, with a lot of collectibles and antiques around you. This is not a large establishment but they seem to have plenty of space for their normal Friday night crowd. Our son, who happens to be on the Eisenhower Aircraft Carrier somewhere in oceans unknown to us, told us about this gem. We went there with friends for the fish fry. My husband and I had the bluegills, potato pancakes and the broccoli crunch salad. Soooo wonderful. One of our party had the walleye, and 2 with cod. Everyone raved about the food.
