This place is a local gem! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The waitresses and bar staff work very hard because it gets busy. Most importantly, the food is delicious! If you’re looking for an excellent fish fry with a variety of fish types, this is the place to be. The potato pancake recipe is to die for. Thank you to the staff for the great food! My only suggestion would be to create a time limit for dining tables. I’ve noticed some of the bar patrons treat the tables as if they’re part of the bar, which means it can take a long time to be seated for dinner. I think since seating is limited, there should be a time limit on diners, say 1 hour from the point food is served. Also, there should be a clear hostess station with a “please wait to be seated sign” so everyone is required to put their names down. Ralph’s was a random late lunch stop for us returning from a road trip in Wisconsin. Midday on a summer Saturday seating at the bar was full of mostly locals. Everyone seemed to know each other. With the bar full we sat at a nearby high top table. We got immediate fast friendly service from the barkeep. And the food here? Absolutely fantastic. The sandwich we were splitting was thoughtfully put together AND split into two plates for us. The tots were daisy fresh and hot. What more could you possibly want?
