RESPONSE TO OWNER: Yes, I did still purchase pastries. I was buying them to treat our road crew. Knowing how they are, I knew a mosquito wouldn't bother them. Had it been for myself or my family, I would have left. I did not say 'all items'. I said that specific tray, the tray that the mosquito was bouncing all over the pastries. To literally squish a bug and not immediately disinfect that surface, THAT is what I was referring to. You should defend your bakery, but wrong is wrong. With all of this being said, your response is a true tale as to what type of business owner you are. Which is ok for some, but that has definitely sealed the deal that my business and any others I can deter, will never cross your threshold. Word of mouth can either play in your favor as a business owner or hurt it. Humility goes a long way.

The smell was AMAZING! I was there very early, so they had a great selection. I'm giving 1 star because as I was waiting, I noticed what I believe was a mosquitoe flying around in one of the cases. When it was my turn, I first told her there was a bug. She pulled the tray out, grabbed a napkin, squished it, replaced the tray and asked what she could get for me. No cleaning/disinfecting, no removing the tray completely and replacing (it was clearly all over the tray of pastries), nothing....squish, return, move on..... For that, I probably will not return. Further update: Well, Donut Chef did it again! They made us a GAY Thanksgiving chocolate cake for our friend’s party! As usual, it was a HIT! Thank you again Donut Chef!

UPDATE: We went this past weekend to pick up our cake that Donut Chef is now making! See the attached picture of our cake for the pool party we went to ! The cake was a hit ! So moist with a wonderful lemon filling and whipped cream frosting! Cake prices are very reasonable too !

Btw, we love the new coffee camper! You are really sprucing up the business and love the merch too!

PREVIOUS REVIEW: You must try these donuts! The owner/baker truly is a chef of donuts, cookies, bread and lemon drizzle loafs! His cranberry nut loaf at Christmas is amazing too! We always travel from Ligonier to get the BEST donuts in western PA. Don’t believe me, taste them for yourself! I heard the coffee is AMAZING too!
