Enchanted Oven — Restaurant in Salem Township

I’ve been here a few times since it opened so I have a couple of things to write about. Most recently I ordered a 6” birthday cake and it was absolutely delicious! The chocolate portions of the cake were the best. Everyone loved the cake. It had a bit too much frosting but that’s the only critique I have about it. The frosting was butter cream and wasn’t too sweet. We all appreciated that. Service is really slow in the shop. Not a stop if you want to pick up a quick coffee, but the specialty coffees I had were very good both times. Prior to the cake I did pick up four cupcakes and they weren’t as good as the cake, but they also had just opened and I expect improvement as the business continues. I’m just glad there is this business there and hope they do well. I would give them a 4.5/5 but that option isn’t available.

This is a cake I ordered for my son’s 5th birthday . I complained about the appearance because it does not look good or professionally done at all. I was told “ we have a decorator out sick and a couple of weddings today” So I guess if you don’t have a wedding you don’t matter (again as a customer I don’t know why any of that is my problem) My original pick up time was supposed to be 10am I was texted in the morning asking to come around 12 due to them running behind and someone being out sick . I came at 12 :30 In order to solve my problem she told me she could re do the design but she was the one who did it in the first place - to then when she offered to print out a photo of the logo and place it on and then drop the cake off at me house . If I would have known this is how I would have been treated or the cake I would have got I would have never spent the money on going to this baker for a cake . Maybe meijer has better options? This cake cost me $80.34 . I am beyond upset I did this to have a nice looking cake and got a poorly made Batman. With custom that I paid extra for writing completely blends in with the gold cardboard. Unprofessional , unkind , not well done I haven’t but I’m nervous it’s going...

This morning my husband and I stopped in for our first visit to the new bakery/cafe up the road(EO just opened 3 days ago). We ordered the Sweet Potato Savory Breakfast Biscuit and Breakfast Panini on french bread and decided to dine-in. The ingredients were choice, fresh and a delicious blend of flavors. We travel a lot, dine out often, I can be a little critical with my food and I tell ya, they hit all the marks. And the prices are reasonable too, especially for the quality.

There were two large bakery cases filled with cakes and desserts-EO also does custom orders. We bought a salted-caramel cupcake for our neighbor but it’s still breakfast time and she hasn’t enjoyed it yet to give us her full report.
