Fantasy Twirl — Restaurant in Salem Township

I had a wonderful experience at Fantasy Twirl. The staff was excellent, even though we were there right before closing time. They didn't make us feel bad at all, and they even gave us royal treatment. The prices were also very reasonable, I was actually shocked.

We didn't realize they were getting ready to close until the open light turned off while we were ordering. As soon as we were done ordering, the interior lights turned off and tables started to get cleaned. We felt bad that we were there so close to the cutoff time, but they never once made us feel bad. It was a beautiful day and I'm sure the employees would rather be elsewhere, but they still gave us royal treatment.

We ordered 5 ice-cream cones and one slushy or ice drink. The ice cream was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. We were very impressed with our experience at Fantasy Twirl and would definitely recommend it to others.

My husband and I were just driving around looking at the scenery as we sometimes do in the "country". There were absolutely no businesses near by. We had been in the car awhile and I said to my husband, "I wish there was an ice cream place around here." My husband laughed and confidently said, " if we see an I've cream place out here, I promise we will stop. " Low and behold, just a mile down the road there was an ice cream shop!!!! 😂 It Is in the middle of nowhere- in fact I would put the address as "no-where, MI" Lol There are cows to look at and farming equipment as neighbors! It's a completely quaint little business with only outdoor seating.I believe there were 3 picnic tables under the overhang, around the corner a few small tables and chairs, as well as a lovely spot across the parking lot. They have Hudsonville ice cream, as well as soft ice cream (vanilla, chocolate and twist. All the "kids" ice cream choices in cartoon character shapes, some simple snacks, sundaes, shakes etc. For ice cream prices getting higher over the past couple of years, this place was reasonably priced with good...

UPDATE: We went to Dairy Ranch in Dorr and asked for a snickers mixer and asked if they could put caramel on top and they said "Yea!" WITHOUT HESITATION. Fantasy twirl ruined my entire night with their rudeness.

We asked to get a snickers swirl with caramel in it. They said they couldn't mix any caramel in with it (seems weird to me why they can't). We asked if they can just put the caramel on top and she said no but offered a caramel sundae and to add snickers to that, we said no that's OK we are good. She said "good" in a very rude tone.
