I can't say too much. I'll share our limited experience. Just know I am not slamming the business.
We were from out of town, and this restaurant must be a local dining venue. The place was a little confusing as to where to enter the restaurant. The main entrance had one door with no window in the door located on a patio area.
As soon as we walked it, literally everyone stopped and looked. Maybe it was someone's birthday, I just don't know. As we walked in, there was no sign stating seat yourself or wait to be seated. So we asked a kind waitress, and she said it would be about 20 min to be seated. I said OK and we started to wait.
The restaurant smelled nice, and I could smell some good food. After having no place to sit and tired of feeling like we were trespassing, we decided to leave. I understand small towns. My graduation class was 52 people, and my wife's was 79.

Read moreI always say the best food you can find is usually at a bar, and JB Malone's just confirms that opinion. Located in the small town of Salem Missouri. I was looking for a Sandwich after going to buy fishing supplies and saw this by the side of the road. I was starving and needed a Sandwich and a beer and boy Did I find a good one! I had the Reuben Sandwich and I learned that they do their own corn beef. At site it was perfect. I can tell that it was made correctly. And then they grilled it on the flat top. With some great cheese and sauerkraut on a wonderfully toasted and buttered piece of bread.. And don't get me started on the French fries. They are battered and came out perfectly crispy and hot. The bartender was so helpful. And I will be back tomorrow to get the other suggestion. Which was a breaded port tenderloin Sandwich. Yum yum, I can't wait. So I came back for the pork tenderloin Sandwich ..horrible..dont order it. Tastes like it came from a frozen...
