Main Street Cafe — Restaurant in San Angelo

Always a tasty meal. Today, I had my favorite; High Rise Reuben Sandwich. Delicious!! The pickles are a nice treat. I had a cup of potato soup with it. I think I received someone’s baked potato fixings. Lol. I put them in my soup!! Also, I had some of the fried green beans.

Great comfort food on a rainy day. Their steak fingers with cream gravy and Texas toast are great, as well and my wife really liked the Philly...

Our waitress came to our table to take our order, give us our food and then give us our check. Never refilled drinks or asked about food which was inedible. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was supposed to come with sausage. It did not, the English muffins were soggy, no sausage, eggs were wet still, and the hollandaise sauce was curdled. I ate the fruit and the few potatoes that weren’t wet. I came here hungry and I left hungry. We were here for about an hour and a half waiting on food, waiting...

Great food and variety of dishes. Healthy options, which can be hard to find, especially if on a special diet. Love the coffee. Located in retirement area which made it more difficult to find. Glad we found it. Decent hours. Nice view from inside the restaurant. Good atmosphere. Great fast & friendly service. Excellent prices and large portions, so lots of extra food to take home.
