Elizabeth's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

I went to elizabout a month. Go and my experience wasn't all that great, but I thought okay. Let's try this again at the time that I went the first time I went during lunch. I paid my bill with my credit card The second time I went I took my family And went during lunch.My bill came out to $57. ! Mind you , there was a two dollar CHARGE To use my credit card That did not happen a month ago People work very hard for the money and they choose these mom and pops to help Them as well!! Well , here we are helping them out and yet They are charging a charge to use our credit cards.Some of us can't afford fifty six dollars for lunch So We choose to use our credit cards To make me bake a full payment on our next Payday.Will I choose to go to Elizabeth again no good food but i'm Going to pay to use my credit card.They want To continue service with people , they shouldn't charge people to use a...

I wanted take out after my daughters soccer game nearby. They had decent reviews so i called to place an order to go but got no answer. Stopped by and walked in and it appeared busy but there were a lot of open tables. Staff seemed scattered throughout but very unorganized. I waited in line to be helped by the server. Told me i needed to stand in another line by the register to order for take out. I waited 10 min before i decided to leave. Most of the tables were waiting for food, lady at register was oblivious to the lines and people waiting. I will pass on this place for simply not being organized and lack of situational awareness by staff to help people get what they need.

I used to take my three year old everyday to Elizabeth's after we'd drop off her siblings at school. Unfortunately we moved away from the area and missed out eating there. Fastforward nearly 13 years later, we have moved back to the area and came today to eat at their new location (a few doors down) and the food tastes the same it did all those years ago. I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants in town and always order huevos rancheros for breakfast, and have always said, "Do these measures up with Elizabeth's?"
