Quik Wok — Restaurant in San Antonio

I decided to try this place because a friend had recommended it and had a great experience, I didn't. Now front service was great, the young lady who took my order was super kind to us while taking our order and even afterwards. I had spent $50+ on our order, general tsao chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken(all combos), lo mein, egg drop soup, crab rangoons, and egg rolls.

The only thing that actually had season/flavor was the soup and egg rolls. I didn't get orange chicken I got another general tsao, I was missing my crab rangoons and the lo mein was the most tasteless lo mein I've ever had, I am not exaggerating. The general tsao wasn't spicy at all—the sesame and the general tsao literally tasted the same there was no difference in flavors at all and the fried rice was the same. Everything lacked color too so it just looked like a pretty sad meal besides the egg drop soup.

I decided to call the next day to see if I could get my orange chicken since I didn't get that or crab rangoons atleast since that's $6 of what I didnt get at all. Again service lady was very sweet but she had to put me on hold multiple times, questioned why I didn't call the day of ((which is valid but Ive been driving all day and didn't think it was a big deal)) and asked for the time—told me I had enough time to call before they closed, asked how many bags I received. Definitely made it feel like it was my fault they messed up on my order that I spent $50+ on. Great first impression guys. She had to get a hold of her supervisor and told me to call back the next day, same exact thing except a man told me I could only get the crab rangoons but I literally don't even wanna go back especially since in their reviews other people had the same experience.

The only upside about this place was it was super close to us for this kind of food but I think we'll continue to make the trip into San Antonio instead.

The female named Amber who took the phone. Call that I placed to complain. Or rather to have a solution for the food missing from my order. Who refused to give me the manager's name or to speak with. The manager was very rude and absolutely refused to help or have any kind of customer service. Accommodations for my poor door dash experience. Further more she cused me out calling me the b word hung up on me twice and the. Refused to answer the phone after telling me that my incomplete order had no concern to her nor would she care to solve it or be respectful to apologize. She has made it clear this place doesn't care about keeping a customer or loosing one as well for I order from this place at least twice a weak from my work, looks like bbb is their creditor so I will be contacting them as well as any amd all superiors to this rude young female. My family is large in size being the Hagees of cornerstone church I will be telling all of them to stay away from this place and tell all their friends what a horrible experience we had with this incounter, she also informed me her manager wouldn't care late amd would tell me oh well too bad just as she did, plenty of other places can replace bad manners and a foul mouth with less than 5star service that is obviously the case here. We use to enjoy the food here but now the service and food quality is terrible. I ordered over the phone to pick, the lady said it would be 30 minutes. We got there 41 minutes later (giving them a little extra time to cook our food) went in and paid. I asked the lady how much longer and she said 15 more minutes so I went back in to the car to wait. Waited for 20 more minutes (again giving them more extra time) already frustrated and hungry, I asked if it was ready, again she said 15 MORE MINUTES! I told her that I've been waiting for over an hour at that point, when I was only told 30 minutes, she responded, "I'm sorry we have a lot of orders". Went back into the car and waited for what felt like forever. Went back in and waited for 5 more minutes and it was FINALLY ready. Got home to BURNT flavorless EGG FOO YOUNG, cold egg rolls, and dry/hard fried rice! It was horrible. Overall my family and were very unsatisfied and disappointed in the quality and service we got from QUIK WOK. It should be called SLO WOK!
