El Taquero Restaurant — Restaurant in San Bernardino

Got a breakfast my over easy eggs were not over easy at all, might as well had been hard boiled eggs, if it appears I’m venting I’m really not as a consumer getting breakfast I would expect my meal to be prepared as I requested I mean it’s Eggs it doesn’t take an acquired skill set to achieve, now I like jelly on my toast perhaps it’s nostalgia and reminds me of my father he always had jelly with his toast, now I’m okay with the jelly packs that are given when you go to most restaurants however in all my years I have never experienced a jelly to be so hard almost as if it was hard butter from a stick at first I thought maybe this is a bad jelly so I opened the second now I’ve never had strawberry jelly to look as if it was grape jelly and this one was so hard you could not remove it from that small packet, I try to be optimistic and see the good in all but overall I was not pleased their restaurant is not very accommodating it was very hot inside no A/C their breakfast menu are pictures of everything they serve here reminded me as if I was at a barbershop, the price was a little higher than expected but I get it inflations, trying to maintain their doors opened I’m all for helping mom and pop shops and I will even have a second meal here just because I would give them the benefit of the doubt I mean if a place it’s not up to par with their food and then you advised them the second time you order food there should be no mishaps it gives them a chance to make things right and secondly give them a chance to please their client for repeated business in the future so I will be posting a secondary review of my overall experience with this establishment. Let’s go El Taquero let’s make this place a more enjoyable place to sit and eat for everyone to enjoy, wether your dining in or taking out, for the moment I’m giving it one star but I expect to raise that depending on the quality, freshness of my meal and overall cleanliness and service....

The taquero restraunt is one of my number one top list of good food good quality and the owners and employees are super super super nice I love the the food and I love every thing about it.The food is fresh and clean and I love it. Last night march 20 2019 I ate a wet burrito that burrito was the bomb I wish I could eat 10 more of the the wet burrito one word can not explain how much I love it me and my family always go to el taquero for breakfast lunch and dinner. I really disagree with people who say it's bad they are just fakers they want free food if they say its not good they want to wall out with free food. El taquero is one of heavens restraunts 100 million stars to el taquero do listen to the bad comments they are fake. I don't know why Michele v said that that is really dumb I saw her the day she went. to I ordered the same wet burrito as her at the same time it was not dry not bad it was delicious so ahe needs to stop saying bad stuff I know the owners and the employees the are like family to me after I finished the wet burrito I ordered one to go I saw the racket Michel was making so stop...

We went here for dinner or two burritos when Carnitas one chile verde. The Chile Verde was very dry no sauce inside and the Carnitas just had slivers of Carnitas literally and mostly beans and rice no exaggeration. We spoke to the waitress and the cook who was very rude. We asked them to correct the issue and the cook that even more rude then ask for money back. all the while we were told the owner would be there tonight and that there were new owners and they're the ones who told the cooks how to make the burritos like that. After we asked to see t talk to the owner of the cook called the owner and complain very loudly to have the whole time not knowing that I can understand some Spanish. Look at us the owner if he wanted her to refund all our money. Then they asked how much it was. Then she came out and said we were not getting our money back that we had to come see the owner in the morning.then the cook brought out a plate of Carnitas put it in my face and said do you want to try this like I was a dog no...
