Rodeo Cafe — Restaurant in San Bernardino

My wife and I decided to go to have breakfast at Rodeo Café in Rialto on leap day February 29, 2020. Let’s start off with the service, I must say that, it seemed as if, they were at our beckon call – like white on rice – We were treated as if we were they only customers in the establishment, although the restaurant was getting busier-and-busier as the time passed. I really feel as if no one in the restaurant was able to complain for the lack of service. While we were there, I noticed that at least three additional hostesses arrived ready to conquer the fact of being in a very sought-after restaurant! My wife ordered the Combo Omelet while I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The food was excellent, the presentation was excellent, and the over-all establishment was excellent! We found this place to be so good that I would gladly recommend it to all! We will definitely be repeat customers, especially when we live about a mile or so away from here!

It's a dump. Atmosphere is dirty old truck stop. Very disapointed. After all these great reviews of their pancakes, I expected them to be just as described in the reviews. They were the worst I ever had . They were served cold , flat and rubbery. There was 9 of us at the table and I was the last served. I think they forgot my plate and let them sit. They got cold. When the waitress finally came to our table to see how we were doing, I sent them back after eating 5 bites. She assured me they would be taken off the bill. When I went to pay the bill I found the pancakes were still on it. I questioned them about it, and the manager said I still had to pay for them. "I didnt complain quick enough' (really?) The waitress took my food saying she would take it off my bill. I felt like I was in twilight zone. He said I should have complained earlier??? Really , what???? Never again. So good can't wait to go back I had the ham sandwich with cheese. Delicious..only one word to describe tremendous. The pancakes are a must so delicious and huge could only eat half ..not even. Yummy syrup and melted butter in ur mouth..what a taste sensation. You gotta try it to believe how good they are. Once you try them you'll want em every time!! I do! Can't lose with them. Makes me feel like a kid again. At my aunt Elenors home. She was the best in southern cooking. I love my pancakes 🥞😋..these are much better. I wish I knew their secret.
