Caribbean Taste — Restaurant in San Diego

Went there yesterday call Dan make sure that they have my food ready when I got there because I live a long distance and the ladies they did it for me. But when I got there there was silence they told me how much the food wise did not even say thank you usually I’ll say thank you but why should I say thank you if I’m giving you money for your service and only that I’m your customer are you supposed to tell me thank you but anyways when I went in I felt this horrible silence I felt as prejudice I don’t know what it is with foreign Africans and African-AmericansBut it’s crazy they did not thank me they are not welcoming by the way I’m African-American I do not like the treatment that I felt but regardless the food was good been there before and never got treat me like this I guess because it was two ladies in the front is usually a man and he’s really nice but this time these ladies were rude I’m just stating...

Worth the money to bad they don't deliver. Excellent portions, excellent customer service, restaurant is clean, workers wear mask.. The downside is they do not deliver and only accept cash only and food is soooooo dam tasty. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't so.

Update 01-11-2022. I ordered the Large Oxtail dinner with Xtra butters beans. When I received my meal (it was a takeout)There was no butters at all. I asked the owner and he said the butter beans were mashed up in the Oxtail dinner which I know for a fact is bulls##t. I cook Jamaican oxtails and add butter beans and u can actually see them. Owner claim the reason u can't see them is becuz they cook the butter beans in a pressure cooker and that's why I can't see them again bulls##t. I did not get what I paid for so I won't be going back there and I don't recommend this...

Just tried their food yesterday for the first time. And the food wasn't even that good. I gave it a 5 out of 10. When I first walked in the building the worker behind the counter was just standing there and not saying anything. Which already had me feeling uneasy about eating there due to the terrible customer service. Then the food came out, which was the oxtail dinner. It cost $26 for the large plate. Which is very overpriced to me due to the small portions of oxtails. The oxtails itself were very small with little to no meet on them. The vegetables weren't even seasoned well and tasted very Bland. Overall I would not recommend eating here because the portions are very small and the food isn't seasoned very well. The customer service was also very terrible which is another reason I would never eat...
