La Loma Bonita — Restaurant in San Diego

Good food bad business. I have tried to call in orders at least five times in the past few months but no one answers the phone and it goes to a voicemail that's in Spanish so I don't know what it even says. Last time I went there a few weeks ago I told the girl at the counter that they need to their change the message or just answer the phone but of course when I called this evening it went right to the same message. I hung up and called back two more times and was never able to place my order. Another time I went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning at about 9:00 and no one was there even though the sign says they open at 8:00. Your food really is good, well at least the Pollo asado burritos and tacos are because that's all I've had. This place is right in my neighborhood and I want to make it my go-to Mexican restaurant but it's so annoying when you can't call in an order so it will be ready to pick up when...

I was at work and decided to stop and grab some rolled tacos. I parked and went inside, I ordered five rotos and asked if I could use the restroom. She was very politely told me that we don't have a public restroom and our restroom is behind the kitchen, so we don't like to let customers walk through there. But she still said she'd let me use it. I thought that was very nice of her. The food took a little long and I asked if everything was okay being that I was the only one there and, it was only five row tacos. She told me that they were rolling at fresh and it would be ready soon. I appreciate it the freshness, but if I'm being honest, I would have loved if they were ready to fry, and serve and let me get back to work. I think I was the first person to rate this place on Yelp about 7 years ago. I really like it because they have a vegetarian section of the menu tonight I brought her friend that had never eaten there who's vegetarian also and we had the tofu burrito which was delicious and 5 roll tacos.

It's located in the same Plaza as my market and the daycare center and the pizza place next to our which I plan on visiting soon it feels a little bit like you're in the Twilight Zone but the food is good and the woman's husband, it's a husband and wife operation takes his time cooking the food it came out very hot and took a while to cool down.

Over the years the quality has remained consistent. One minor complaint they used to let me use the bathroom in the back and now they don't no big deal but there is no bathroom so keep that in mind they do have hand sanitizer and I used...
