Great food We were in Old San Juan for a week and ate here twice. One of us is a vegetarian and loved the vegetable mofongo with extra garlic sauce. A side of rice and beans and salad. Ordered it twice. The veg were kind of mixed shy but it didn’t matter all mixed up. Appetizer of lightly fried cheese would be better with guava than the garlic aoli. Other eater got conch mofongo, not knowing it was served cold like a conch salad. A lot of conch but took it to our apt and heated it later and liked it much more. Second time, she got very good and cooked to order skirt steak and sweet plantains and salad (The dishes come with two side, BTW). She also got a sangria which kind of toasted her. Seems sangria in PR includes rum. The room we ate in both times was small and comfortable with brightly painted walls and gave a feeling of PR. Service generally good. We especially liked waiter named, I...

El Punto Restaurant is like having an entire food court squeezed into one spot—only missing the security guard and the lady mopping the floor. You can go from a fried chicken combo with fries to a churrasco with trifongo without blinking, all equally tasty and well-priced… definitely not healthy, but who comes here to count calories? The word “restaurant” is more honorary than literal—it feels more like fast food, where you order at the counter and wait for your name to be called, just like the school cafeteria. The shared parking out front is basically a lottery: sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t. At least they accept contactless payments, which feels modern enough to balance out the...

Llegamos...
