If you are in Texas, I recommend making San Samba as a must stop. The town of San Samba is a lovely town. The citizens are very kind and welcoming to all who visit. They have many soups. Our favorite stop is two places in San Samba. The Oliver Pecan Company store then for breakfast or lunch the Oliver Pecan café. The food is made fresh daily. The staff is wonderful. I recommend the coffee room with its comfortable couches and chair. With wonderful photos on the wall, or the patio. Just outback on a cool day. My kids have peanut allergy. I’ll order pecans From Oliver pecan company because I know that they are not processed on shared equipment. The pecans are wonderful - I especially like being able to buy a 3 pound bag of pieces to use for baking throughout the year. The pecan brittle and the pecan toffee and I could go on suffice to say they have great products. We visited and had a good experience, the amaretto chocolate covered pecans are good. A week after getting back home I looked up their website to purchase some more. I paid for 2lbs. and never received the order. I reached out to them on 3 seperate occasions with dates and order details attempting to clear it up to no avail.
