So far the best local food I’ve had. Fresh and well spiced . There’s two cooks , one slightly better than the other , tried to get the name of the cook of the day to call ahead and check if my preferred cook is in before the long drive from a neighboring town to no avail . But either way the food is good , just the mmmm hits a little different . I haven’t tried anything other than chuleta kankan , arroz mamposteado, salad , fresh tostones , surrullos , fried cheese . Been back several times but always eaten the same main dish . Piña colada was also good . I brought my hubby after the first time being there with a friend and the food didn’t have the flavor punch I bragged about to him . I returned alone once again and it did so that’s how I figured must be a different scheduled cook. But like I said it’s still good just that after tasting the Sazon of the other I left wanting when didn’t get. Anyway ,cute rustic spot , can see mountains from the outside sitting , space a little tight in the main salon if full . It gets pretty full , why I try visit for lunch .
