Agave Restaurant now located inside the Casino — Restaurant in San Xavier District

I have been in the hospitality industry for over ,30+years. I realize and seen about everything that can happen and can usually account for reason. The. Waitress had no knowledge of any thing on the menu. I asked about the prime rib and she replied " is that what you want?" Maybe I reminded her of a ex. That didn't end well? I can only fathom. I remained pleasent and ordered it for me and my date. When it arrived I cordially explained that it was to well done for my taste. She took it back and under a minute brought it back with a cup of cold blood poured over it she put it down and walked away. Coming back only to leave the check. I understand that we all have bad days, maybe she was not getting along with the kitchen staff. Like I said there are many factors that lead to a bad dining experience. I usually go back to a establishment if I had a hard experience the first time and give it one more try. This place I will not. I had manage a bite of the entree , but no recourse had even been acknowledged. I left a 20% tip paid my bill and left never to return again. I have found making a scean ,yelling and displaying obvious contempt is no way to resolve this or any matter. There is always a review and I always choose...

My better half and I were hoping to have a nice dinner, it took awhile to be seated even though there was no one ahead of us. When we did get seated, the waitress Marian took our drink order and our order for dinner when she bought our drinks with the bread we asked for a straw . She was handling a disputed ticket to the table next to us with three couples "some type of cashier computer glitch." We finished our bread, still no straw, a long period went by so we asked another waitress for the straw and she got it for us. The 3 couples had left before the straw incident. We finished the bread and still not checking on us, I then asked the other waitress for more bread and she brought it right away. We waited a long time for the food, and when she finally brought it she tried to act as though that's some kind of procedure to have to ask some one else. We finished dinner and still and not even during did she come to check on us. We asked another worker to get our check. We had hoped to see a desert menu to follow but we were never offered, by that time we were disgusted with the service. We had ordered the same dish and they were mis-poportioned. Won't...

I have never written a review of a restaurant before, but my experience at this place was beyond awful. We ordered pot roast with vegetables. When it came it bore no resemblance to any pot roast I have ever seen. It was dry, gristly, and hard. A lot of it ended up in my napkin. It was supposed to have been served with green beans and carrots. Not a carrot to be seen. When I asked for them I was told they were out of them. Really?? The green beans were inedible...hard and bitter. I asked for another portion and when it came they were just as bad, if not worse. The only tasty thing on the plate were the potatoes which I suspect came from a box. We did order dessert...another mistake. How does anyone ruin cheesecake??? It was dry and stale. We were offered a coupon for a free dinner, but I turned it down. Why would I want more of the same? The service was also an issue, but I think I have said enough negative things. Needless to say I will never go back. I told them I have had better food at McDonald's. At least you can chew...
