McDonald's — Restaurant in Sandy Hook

Now, don't get me wrong, McDonald's is nice. McDonald's has good food for just about any occasion and is satisfying as long as you eat it in healthy amounts. But this specific McDonald's brought me nothing but poorer quality food and an awful waiting time to match. This just wasn't one experience though, this McDonald's has a track record for taking way too long. I've heard so many negative stories I could write a 400 page novel. If you go to another McDonald's, you'll most likely receive MUCH better quality. A friend of mine who attends the nearby school was interested in working at this McDonald's. He was told he would have an interview scheduled twice, but never received a call. Upon asking a third time, they denied saying they'd set up an interview. After that, my friend called it quits on trying to get a job, which is a shame 'cause he works hard. Some of the crew members seem to have little to no clue how to work in fast food. Some of the crew members genuinely care, but that's ruined by the service some other customers and I still receive. All in all, if you absolutely HAVE to eat here, proceed with caution. If another McDonald's is around 10-20 minutes away from where you are, it's worth the extra time spent...

Seems everytime we go here something is wrong or missing with the order. The last time we got food here there was literally no MEAT ON ANYTHING!! How do you forget the meat!? I can see being in a hurry and maybe forgetting meat on one thing, but the chicken and burgers was missing! You know whoever wrapped up the sandwiches seen there was no meat on them! And with gas prices having to go back is a hassle. Also having kids expecting their food and then having to tell them there is no meat and they have to wait. Plus now the whole order is nasty if it had been fresh cuz you had to go back, they refused to give me fresh nuggets or fries with the return of the sandwiches with no meat, cuz nothing was "wrong" with them! But now they're cold, having to drive back to get the other sandwiches. So I guess when they mess up your order u have to eat the other...

I live in Alabama and was visiting family in Kentucky. I went through the drive thru and I have never been treated any better at a fast food restaurant. The young girls name was Reliegh Fannin and she was a true sweetheart! You need to commend her on being such a great worker! I seen the vehicle in front of me how nice she interacted with them and I got the same treatment! She double checked with me on my order and had my drink ready when I got to the window and she said I will have your order ready in a couple minutes. And she did have it in that time but I was impressed how she was cleaning her work area as she was ready for the next costumer. I travel back to Kentucky this will be the only McDonald’s I stop at!
