19th Hole Tavern & Pizza — Restaurant in Sandy Township

You know how you go to try a new pizza place and the crust is like cardboard? The cheese doesn't go to the edge and there is a rim of exposed sauce that is bland? There isn't sufficient browning on top and the toppings are sparse and you leave disappointed?

I can assure that is not the case here. For an American thin crust pizza, this is as good as it gets. They aren't shy with the toppings and the cheese and the crust is fantastic. Golden brown and soft with a good amount of chew.

For full disclosure, I've only gotten delivery and don't have any experience with their dining room or service. The couple times I have ordered it now, I ordered online (extremely painless) and everything showed up on time to the minute the first time and a little early the second time. It's about a 12 minute drive to our place and it showed up sufficiently hot each time.

At some point we will definitely try the food at the restaurant but the food is the most important and it is fantastic. It could be terrible service and it wouldn't matter honestly. The pizza is that good.
