We had high hopes, and would probably give it another chance (probably if we were picking up or eating there), but our experience was quite disappointing. We were visiting from out of town, and placed on online order, thrilled that they had so many vegan options. Not sure why making a salad vegan cost an extra $2, but regardless, cost was not our issue.

We ordered our pizza at 5:24 pm and requested the fastest delivery which the software told us was 6:40 pm. We looked up how far the place was from our vacation rental and saw that it was 12 minutes away.

Now, we found the vacation rental on the first try coming from a different state, in the dark. But, when the delivery driver showed up an HOUR after the pizza was supposed to have arrived and said that it was super hard to find the place, we were patient and reheated our cold pizza and ate it.

I was astonished that we weren't offered any kind of discount, and really wished I hadn't given such a big tip ahead of time. We had four hungry, extremely whiny children. Our teenager ran out barefoot in the snow when he saw the pizza had arrived because he was so hungry after a long day of sledding and eagerly waiting for his food.

No apologies, no offers of discounts (it should have been comped at that point), just excuses that our house was hard to find...

Oh yeah... and at least one of our pizzas was burned....

The decent pizza was overshadowed by the ABYSMAL service. We dined here last night, arriving at 6pm. We were given 2 Menus (there were 4 of us) and sat ourselves. There were 3 servers, and not a single one came by our table until I flagged one down. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. 2 pizzas took 1 1/2 HOURS!!! In that entire time waiting in a sweltering restaurant, NO ONE came by to refill our drinks or our obviously empty water jug. Our pizzas were delivered with no plates. I had to go to the bar and ask for plates. They could only give me two, and the others were paper plates! When we finished we had to grab our own take out box, as again after the food was dropped off we were completely ignored. If you know food is going to take that long, you need to: 1.Tell your customers before they sit down. 2. Take care of them once they are there. The poor family who came in ahead of us waited an hour and 45 minutes and were obviously annoyed. Make sure you ask how long your order will take...

Oh my!! We have lived up here a little over 3 years and have never been here before 🙄 imagine our disappointment at all the missed opportunities for this amazing food!!! Loved both the vegan/vegetarian options and the elk/wild boar meats. Best of both worlds. Looked to have a wide variety of adult beverages and even offered pizza by the slice 😋 We ordered a whole pizza and was shocked when it was brought out in 10-12 min...like what?? Incredibly fast (although I'm sure they have their busy times). The pizza was very well put together...the toppings were fresh and they had some unique combos. I personally appreciated that it wasn't laden down with toppings...it had just the right amount and the thin crust was perfect!

The person serving (I'm assuming the owner) was personable and attentive. Overall a very nice place! This is definitely our new pizza place...the few extra miles are...

Covid-era review. Pizza surrounded by the gorgeous woods of the Mount Hood forest. Open air tent w/sidewall seating out back with those tall outdoor heaters... friendly staff, masked. Yummy pizza, thin crust and crispy edges from the wood-fired oven, and some great touches like unusual mushrooms and truffle oil on the "funghi" pizza. Hot toddy on a chilly evening abt $8. Pro tip: if you have a cold-sensitive posterior, bring a stadium pad :-) we were there in the pouring rain and didn't get even slightly splattered, so the side walls really keep out the weather. We are also fully vaccinated or we wouldn't have felt comfortable with three parties in the tent. On a pleasant day with the walls more open, ventilation would be better, of course.
