Golden Plate — Restaurant in Sarcoxie

I have eaten at more Chinese restaurants that I would like to admit, this place was the worse of them all. I had a table of 3 people, the husband ordered sweet and sour chicken with crab rangoon and egg drop soup, I ordered General Chicken with an egg roll and egg drop soup, and my sister in law ordered Sesame Chicken. Lets start with the Sesame and General Chicken, the chicken (for both plates) was literally just chicken tenders deep fried with the same sauce. The only difference was the sesame seeds on my sister in laws plate. The egg roll was tiny and tasteless. The egg drop soup was brought to the table after the main courses had been brought out. And the soup was just nasty, I mean it was super thick and tasted like dirty mop water smells. The waitstaff was a young girl and very rude, rolling her eyes with every question another table had for her. This place is just awful. I am extremely disappointed with my service today. We order from here every time we're in town and never have had issues; until today. My husband had called in our order and I was standing right there, so I had heard exactly what he was ordering. When he returned home with the food, two of the orders were wrong. He had ordered the combo special of the sweet and sour chicken. Instead, he was given two cashew chickens. He called to tell them that our order was wrong, and was told that he was wrong and that he had in fact ordered cashew, not sweet and sour. Also, you have to specify which type of meat you want, dark or white meat chicken. He said all white meat on everything in the order, and our daughters chicken was dark meat. Large portions of hot (temp) really good Chinese food. Server was prompt, knowledgeable of dishes and very helpful!! She wasn't intrusive but seemed to be there if something was needed (more ice, etc!) Place seemed very clean and orderly. The only reasons I gave it 4 not 5 stars was very picky on my part only!! I wish there were a few more beef dishes (like Hunan beef or Mongolian beef - there are plenty of chicken dishes lol) and I wish there were a couple of well padded bench seats or extra-padded chairs. I'm getting up there in age and the chair seemed hard to me. This will not stop me from eating there again and I would recommend this...
