I have never been treated the awful way I was by a "manager" and owner. I do not think the "manager" could manage her way out of a paper bag. We were a party of five and waited 25 minutes for a table there were other people dining but our five top was open with us standing there looking at it waiting to be seated. Our waitress took drink and appetizer orders. We then placed our food order and did not see our waitress again for at least twenty minutes. We waited what felt like a rather long time over 30 minutes for our food. When the fish fry's were delivered they were all cold both the fish and the fries. It would seem our food sat in a window to be picked up and brought to us so got cold. I did not see our waitress so I flagged down another waitress told her my food was cold and asked for hot food. This other waitress was the ONLY person that ever apologized though out this whole ordeal. From this point our server was very rude. We gave cards to pay and asked for a manager what we got was someone that does not only understand customer service but did not give us any. She came over with an attitude argued with is yelled at us and did not apologize or really help in any way. The "manage" said she could not hear me when I know she clearly could as she was reacting to what I was saying about poor service. They had our cards for payment and held us hostage for over ten minutes then the "manager" came back slammed our cards on the table told us we would not be charged and feel free to never come back again. Once we walked out we all got notification of a change from Molitors we were never given a slip or asked to sign anything so not sure of the legality of this. At this point I questioned how this was being handled at which point the owner came over to hover over our table told us our waitress had been there for eight years and she was in the right and she believed her. The owner and manager both at this point were yelling at us. I understand things happen but apologize make it right and move on, that was all we wanted. Don't berate customers and tell them they are wrong. Do not go here if you want to have a good dining experience and want to be treated with respect. If my card is charged I will contact the better business bureau and look into legal...
Read moreWe arrived around 6:45 pm on a Friday night. Chose inside because it was quiet. Musician was not our favorite not horrible just not what we wanted to listen to. We were looking forward to just relaxing and visiting during dinner.
They weren’t very busy inside but outside was a bit busier then the sky opened up and it was busy and loud inside.
Kayden was our server. She couldn’t have been any nicer. We ordered and they were out of baked potatoes. Settled for the garlic mashed and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and were not laddened with butter. Very good flavor. I had the smothered piperade chicken. I was a little nervous about this as I wasn’t sure if the peppers would be Spicey but kayden assured me they weren’t spicy. This was very tasty chicken. It honestly doesn’t need the cheddar on top, in the future I’d order it without. My husband really wanted the chicken Gouda soup which is why we went there to begin with and they were out of that too.
Because of the rain storm the restaurant got busy very quickly. A different server brought our food and refilled our beverages. Unfortunately we had to ask yet another server for our bill as we had been done eating for about 10-15 minutes and we were waiting on the check she apologized and said Kayden was helping out in the kitchen so they could get caught up. (This explains the long wait for food). Kayden came to our table and picked up the tab. She apologized and told she hopes we come back again. That single act of her kindness and understanding that we had been waiting on many occasions for long periods of time and were out of multiple items will ensure that we try them again. Our meals were very good, the service up to the rainstorm was great. We do understand that it just through them off. The musician also moved inside which did not make for an atmosphere conducive to relaxing and visiting.
Thank you Kayden (I apologize if I’ve spelled...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Was recommended by close friends to have my wedding here. Reached out via email 2/8/23. No reply. Called the restaurant 3/27/23, no answer. Texted the owners personal phone 4/10/23, no reply. Called restaurant again 4/11/23, spoke with a manager who said she’d leave Tammy, who was in a meeting, a message for me and she’d reach out. 4/13/23 fiancé called them, and was told the owner was in another meeting and would reach out. 4/14/23 fiancé goes to the actual restaurant to try and get in contact with them, was told she’s in a meeting and they’d leave a message. 4/14/23, later in day, fiancé called owners personal phone and left a voice message. 4/20/23, texted owners personal phone number again, no reply. 4/22/23, best-friend and bridesmaid who is family of restaurant owners attempted to reach out, spoke with owners daughter, and was told she would relay the message and the owner would be reaching out to me. 4/24/23 sent an email to owners personal email, no reply. Finally, I received an email back from Molitors on 4/27/23 from a manager and the headline stated “ Congratulations on your sons engagement” and “contact our event specialist Tammy at this number to schedule a tour”. I am flabbergasted at the unprofessional of this establishment. Not a single phone call, text, or email returned, and then says congratulations on my sons engagement? When I don’t have a son and I am the one who was engaged and looking to book the venue. Also being told to reach out to their event specialist and her phone number when I was trying for over 2 months to get in contact with her. You would think that a professional wedding venue and bar who wants to make money, would definitely give someone willing to spend money at-least a call back. Would not recommend reaching out to have a wedding here. Save your money and go...
