Due to the pending Winter Storm Warning, (8+ Inches of Snow), on the Evening of Monday, the 8th of January, My Lady Friend and Myself were literally the 3rd and 4th Customer there to sit down in Their Dining Room. We were initially concerned as to whether or not They were even Open for Business seeing as how only a few Vehicles were in the Lot. I ordered the Bone-In Chicken Wings (12Ct.) along with a ala carte Side of Frys & Coleslaw, My Lady Friend had the Fried Chicken Strips along with Frys & Coleslaw, which came with It as a platter. When the order was ready, a lighted and vibrating Disc in which We were provided with began to alert Us that the Order was ready for pick-up at the Counter, (no Table Service). When I walked back to Our Table I noticed I was missing My coleslaw. The Man in which initially took My order forgot the Coleslaw. When I told Him I had ordered It He said He didn't hear Me say that. I asked Him if He charged Me for it and He told Me no, however, I was never supplied with a receipt when I paid so I don't know for sure? I elected not to pursue It because My Lady Friend gave Me Hers. I had ordered the Hot Wings which were naked and then tossed with Hot Sauce. When I asked what Brand of Hot Sauce was used, the Man didn't know. I asked if He could find out, at which time He asked the Line Cook which then informed Me. It was an Off Brand Sauce that I'd never heard of and was basic tasting at best. The Wings were obviously Deep Fried to long thus drying the Meat out. The Frys were thin cut, of a processed variety from a Brown Bag, nothing special. Although the Soft Drinks We ordered were Self Serve from a Dispenser I found Them to be quite expensive at $3.00 a piece, however, free Refills included, which ended up being the only plus in the whole Meal! When We were done and ready to leave My Lady Friend asked for some more Sauce for Her Chicken Strips that She'd failed to finish. She was told by the same Man who'd forgot My Coleslaw that the Sauce was $1.00 a piece. We found that to be outrageous seeing as How it shouldn't of been an issue. She opted not to purchase It. The cost of these 2 Lack Luster, Plain Jane, & just darn right Bad Bar Food Meals was $38.00, believe it or not, and in no way worth It! The only Saving Grace to the whole Visit was the Fact that I was able to take a variety of Photos, (seeing as how It was Poopy's Pub, supposedly a Popular Biker Hangout within the Area and chocked full of Motorcycle Memorabilia), upon asking the Bartender if I was allowed to do so. Will I return, certainly not. When warming Our Vehicle up, in preparation to leave the Parking Lot, the Kitchen Employee's, all 3 of Them, were focused on rotating in and out of the Kitchen Door into the Parking Lot Area in order to Smoke Cigarettes, despite the Bitter Cold and Blustery Weather conditions. I must admit, when I did have brief conversations with the Bartender Lady, whom was obviously lacking any Customer flow, I gave Her a $5.00 Bill and expressed My appreciation for Her friendliness. She had been extremely helpful in directing Me and My Lady Friend to the Condiments and Beverages. We discussed the incoming Snowfall that had been forecasted for the Area and It's direct effect, in relation to the lack of Business, that was then being incurred. All in all, My Lady Friend and Myself were very, very disappointed with the Unprofessional Service, the Lack Luster Food, the Expensive Cost, and furthermore, the total lack of expressed appreciation for Our willingness to patronize Poopy's Pub on such an adversely slow Business Night. It's very hard nowadays to hire Help that's willing to exhibit a Level of Service that creates the Building Blocks of a well established Customer Base!!! These Front of House Employee's, excluding the Lady Bartender, were an EPIC FAIL!!!...
Read moreThe bar service is excellent! The bands selected for live music were AWESOME and there was a nice variety selected for a long holiday weekend. HOWEVER, the food service was SERIOUSLY lacking. The only reason I gave them 3 stars, is because the service and atmosphere outside of the restaurant saved the experience from being completely horrible.
After having worked in food service and owning my own establishment for years, I am usually pretty forgiving, but this was literally the worst food service I have ever experienced.
We are their twice. After the 2nd time, we will not eat there again. The food was good, but cold by the time the food runner got it to the table, IF they get it to the CORRECT table.
1st food server was very attentive and did a great job! However, the food was almost cold when the food runner brought it to us.
2nd server provided the WORST service I've EVER received, ANYWHERE. In both cases, the food runners were confused about where the orders were supposed to go. The 2nd time it took our food just over an hour.
The people next to us arrived 30 min after us and their food was delivered before ours, while they were in the store. We didn't immediately realize it was actually our order. The couple came back to their table about 15 min later, the man ate a few fries and realized it wasn't his order, which got our attention. We looked over and noticed it appeared to be our order.
He got up to find the server but couldn't find her. He said something to another server, who eventually found the server and sent her over.
She stopped by our table first, as she noticed my glass was empty. We let her know it had been almost an hour since we'd ordered, she said "I know" and apologized, took my glass to refill it and said she'd get my husband another beer, and check on our food. She went to the table next to us and took their food back to the kitchen. 2 min later she comes back to our table with the same plates she just took back to the kitchen.
My husband told her that better not be the food that was previously delivered to the table next to us. She asked if we wanted fresh. I said I don't want food that's been at another customer's table. Yes, we wanted fresh.
Keep in mind, it had sat at the empty table 15 min, the other customer touched the food, and it waited at his table probably another 10 more min more for him to find a server, and for her to retrieve it and take it back to the kitchen.
The server apologies again, takes it back to the kitchen. Never brings our drinks back. Comes back 5 minutes later with "fresh" food. She realized she forgot our drinks and said she'd be right back. My husband and I both pointed out it was WAY too quick for them to have remade our order. We touched the food and it was as cold as it gets. We got up and walked out. That is the only time I have EVER felt compelled to do so. But that was ridiculous!
By this time it was pushing 9pm. We didn't want pizza, so the only thing left was McDonald's, however at least THEY had top notch service...

Same arrangement as mentioned below except that not only do you have to order at the counter, but also go pick up at the counter as well. The menu has expanded quite a lot from the post pandemic offering which was all encapsulated onto an 8x10 piece of copy paper, to a much more extensive offering. HOWEVER, we ordered a boiled shrimp dinner and a chicken fingers dinner along with sodas with the bill coming up to $40. That would have been reasonable enough if the food wouldn't have been completely inedible. My chicken fingers were dry as dust and tough as shoe leather while my husband's boiled shrimp (which he generally loves) was odd flavored and he only finished about a quarter of it saying it was just plain lousy. I ate 1/2 of ONE of the chicken finger and called it quits as well. Add to that, our $40 meal was served on paper trays and I had to get up 3 different times for PLASTIC silverware, then back for salt, then back for ketchup and napkins. And at the end, you are expected to clean up after yourself as well. But of course, the tip jars were very prominently displayed in several locations.
We could have continued on down to Thomson to the Bear Drive in for a meal served similarly at less the half the price and it would have been twice as good. Apparently a change of ownership has only caused what once was a very good restaurant to go even further down hill than the post pandemic offerings of the former owner. Cannot recommend the dining experience at all.

We’ll, we were excited to go to Poopies when they reopened after being closed all winter. We looked forward to a night out enjoying some of our favorites. But, very big changes occurred since our last visit and definitely not new and improved. Their large, extensive 6 page menu is now a one sided counter menu which sits on the new counter on the right as you enter. This is now where you order your food, and presumably you then go to the bar to get your own drinks as well. Of course, prominently displayed on the new counter are two very large “tip” boxes which you are apparently expected to fill for the privilege of waiting on yourself. The 2 star rating is a gift given that we are giving them the benefit of the doubt as to the quality of the food, as we didn’t stay to try it. If I want to wait on myself with very limited options, I’ll stay home. Not my idea of a relaxing night out. We...
