The Pub — Restaurant in Saybrook

This is not Sharon it’s her husband. My experience was not very pleasant on our visit with another couple. Was the food good sure was the service good sure.The only thing wrong was the customers.One of the ignorant customers hit skip my car in the parking lot.Never had the balls to come in the Pub to make it right.My total bill was about 500.00 for the deductible on insurance and 60.00 for food and tickets for drawing.The so called cameras in the parking lot were not up to standards.Sorry to say that there is something wrong with the whole story I was told. I believe some people know more then they are telling.The crowd seem to be regulars that attend the drawing every week.Somebody knows something but don’t have the guts to stand up and make it right.I have been around bars for years and I know that the regulars that hang out there know what’s going on with everything.To bad so sad nobody come forward. We went on a night there was a horse race on that was super exciting. The waitresses were amazing!!! Two of them were keeping our drinks full and any thing else we needed. Wings were incredible!!! Drinks were a little weak but the food was excellent!! We will be back. They do have out door seating and a sports betting machine. They do have ticket games we didn't play but they have a punch card everytime you go get you r card punched and you will earn $$ off your next visit!! What a cute, homey little bar. Reminds me of a Dad's basement bar. Ten stool bar and about that many tables. Clean and cute with a nice patio outside. We ordered mild wings to go and when I got home and looked at my order I found 12 fried wings with no sauce on them. They were just laying in a pool of oil.
