Delicate food. HALAL Restaurant. I took my friend for dinner, and I was responsible for picking a place. I searched for a Halal restaurant, and I saw good reviews and decided to choose this place. 1st when we walked in, we were a little skeptical. There were no any other dine-in customers. The owner greeted us. We decided to give the place a chance, and thank God we did. Everything we ordered was very delicious, and we ordered a lot for 2 people We had : Butter chicken pizza ( it says on the menu that it's a personal pizza. So we thought we would have 2 small slices each as an appetizer, but it was like a medium pizza). -chicken biryani large or regular (the biggest size from 2 options in the menu) -butter chicken with rice (the biggest size, which was regular or large , I can't remember) 1 garlic naan -mango Lassi -plain lassi As a courtasy, the owner gave us a free desert (semia). We enjoyed every single food. We tried all, but couldn't finish and took the leftovers with us. The only thing I didn't like here was plain Lassi. It tasted like milk with water. I tried adding salt, hoping it will help with the taste, and made it worse. And that Lassi costs $5.... While we were eating several people came to pick up their orders placed online. The sitting area was quite nice. See the pictures. Parking is free. Also it's kind of hard not to miss the rest. When the navigator said, "You've arrived," I stopped on the road and took a few seconds to see the rest and sign for parking. I recommend this restaurant, but not the plain...

A Ukrainian and an Italian walk into a Pakistani/Indian takeout restaurant…and they fall in love with the food. I confess I am not an expert in the cuisine—but I do know when a meal has been freshly cooked with care from well sourced ingredients and when the chef has a real understanding of spices and how to meld them together to make each dish unique. It’s important to know that Shamim’s Kitchen is take out only, and, while some may be disappointed by that, it actually works to the diner’s advantage. While other restaurants rely on eat-in ambiance to enhance their meals, this restaurant puts everything they have into the food. Regardless of the culture, food is an international language, and we were ready to chat. Once home we feasted on Chicken Tikka Massala, Dal Mash with Chicken, Chicken Seekh Kebabs, Halwa Puri, Shamim’s Goat Kadai, the freshest naan I’ve ever had, and topped it off with a generous helping of kheer—rich but not too sweet. Yes, that’s a lot of food for two people considering that the portions were really generous, but I have a feeling it will taste even better tomorrow. Give Shamim’s a try. You won’t regret it. If making food is an art. Chef At this place is a true artist. Authentic Pakistani food never tasted so good. This place is a hidden gem. Starting with ,I have tried Pakistani food in the Edison New Jersey Oak tree Road area, Jerseycity, also in New York places like in Brooklyn ,Manhattan Hicksville, Long Island, Jackson Heights none of those restaurants/places even get close to this place Shamim,s kitchen. some folks may think food is bit pricey, but the servings are huge portions are generous, not to forget every time I ordered there was something on the house inside like their desserts to die for lol. I have been there now few times Food was so good I immediately start eating ,And I forgot to take the pictures in the beginning ,also must mention that how beautiful the presentation was, Starting with (Sarson ka Saag)(Dal Mash)(Chiken Kadai)(Dahi Bhalla)(Till Naan) And what I would call Ice on the cake lol their (Daal Punjabi sweet) Food have 100% taste like home cooking just like your mom or grandmother used to cook. I would definitely give them more stars if they would allow more than 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would definitely review this place again with the pictures in the near...

Tucked in a row of houses, and easily missed by the naked eyes, a take-out only Pakistani restaurant that serves authentic home-cooked dishes that reminiscent me of my times in Saudi. One of the best Pakistani food I've tasted, you know they cooked it without being stingy on flavor and punch! We got the chicken boneless kadai, garlic naan, goat biryani, and chicken sheesh kebab. I would get all of them again if I am around this area. The chicken boneless kadai was packed with spices and flavor, it was a rollercoaster ride on my tongue, what people usually think is a layer of oil, is actually a layer of ghee goodness, not for the faint hearted, which I do not mind at all! The goat biryani is lovely, lots of goat meat embedded in a really fluffy basmati rice, with the hint of tamarind in the rice, which I adore. Just these two dishes would make me travel 5 hrs from Boston if I had to. I would highly recommend ordering online and picking them up since these are freshly cooked upon order but the wait is totally worth it. If only I reside close by, it would easily be my go-to Pakistani food staple.

The place is very clean and the service is good. The employee was very respectful to us and my children offered me mango juice as our first visit, and this is a very nice thing. As for the food, it was very delicious and fresh and the quantity was very excellent. You can tell him to reduce the hot spices as they do that and this is very excellent and it caught my attention as it They also make dishes for special occasions and the quantity is very excellent. I recommend trying this restaurant as it is worth it
