Crunchy pecans, gooey caramel, rich fudge, fluffy whip…and ANY flavor you want. That’s Casco Bay Crunch.✨🍦🤎 #icecream #sweattreats #sundae #mainescoopco #maine #newengland #summertime #foryou #foryoupage

Loved the ice cream here! If you're looking for non-dairy ice cream that doesn't taste like coconut, this is your place! They had a few oatmilk-based ice creams that taste like real ice cream. I had the chocolate chip cookie dough as a sundae with vegan hot fudge! It was delicious! My other half had "real" ice cream. She loved the maple walnut in her sundae. (It was ice cream for lunch day for us!) We saw that they had rum raisin. A friend was just telling us how hard that is to find. He was excited to know they had that flavor among many, many others. We met the owner who was so nice and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and seating. Both covered and in the sun. They had a few fun, kitschy things like a talking chicken and a neat tree that added to the friendly nature of The Maine Scoop. Plus, there's an old Dodge truck in the parking lot with a giant ice cream cone! We're looking forward to going back soon.

Absolutely amazing! The Maine Scoop Company is a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Scarborough. As someone who has food sensitivities, I was so impressed by their variety—vegan and gluten-free options galore, including the best gluten-free waffle cones I’ve ever had. Seriously, I almost cried happy tears eating it! The flavors list? Enormous. My friend and I spent at least 10 minutes just trying to narrow down our choices—there were that many incredible options, from creative seasonal flavors to rich classics. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, clean space, and something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back...probably with a game plan next time so we don’t take so long choosing! 😄🍦

Lots of great flavors and homemade waffle cones. We made a second stop within just a few days of our first—even though it was out of our way to do so.

There were tons of gluten free options—including a GF waffle cone which you do not see everywhere.

The hard serve was good, but we especially appreciated the custard soft serve.

Our most significant feedback would be on the homemade “regular” waffle cones which were a little too crispy and had a hint of spice—nutmeg? cinnamon?—that didn’t jive with the PB flavor ice cream for our family. On our second visit we opted for the...
