Today's visit was my first time coming to Toast & Jam. I arrived at 10:30 am on a Friday morning and the place was buzzing. Even though every booth looked occupied, we did not have to wait to be served. I ordered a delightful breakfast called the Happy Hen. It had two eggs, hash browns, two strips of bacon, two links of sausage, and two mini-waffles. The sausage was awesome. They were fatter than the usual breakfast sausages I've had before and seemed to have a delicious maple flavor. The mini-waffles had a light sugar crinkle coating that didn't need syrup to taste wonderfully. I had leftovers to take home. The staff is attentive and friendly. I know I will return to Toast & Jam. Don’t miss this charming brunch place!
I came for another visit and I still love this place for brunch. I wanted to get the mini-waffles instead of toast or pancakes with a smaller plate of food. The mini-waffles only come with the Happy Hen, so I ordered it and took half of it home. I also tried the turtle latte. It looked so beautiful that my friend ordered one after seeing mine. It was so yummy! I still highly recommend Toast and Jam! They have great food and great service!

I went here today for brunch and couldn't decide between the cannoli caramel crepes and an omelette. I had never tried caramel and cannoli and hadn’t had crepes in years so I went with that. As soon as I ate the toast and jam I started to feel sick so I took my food to go before touching the crepes and before my bf finished eating. Once I got home and felt a little better I tried to eat the crepes they look and taste like nutella on the inside. I’ve never had canolli anything with chocolate so I thought it was nutella so I called and spoke with the manager she gave me attitutde and said that I spoke with our chef and your server and what you got was canolli thats how we make them I’m sorry you didn’t like them but you sat in and took them home. I explained that that’s what I had said. We left early because I didn’t feel good. The server should have been more attentive if she saw I wasn’t eating the food and asked to take it back. She did not and I didn’t want to waste it I took it home to find out it was 👎🏾. So sad I had such high hopes for this place because my bf liked it and the reviews were pretty good but top notch service and great food was unfortunately not my experience the hostess with the colorful romper had attitude and the waitress didn’t smile. And chocolate not caramel nothing related to cannoli nothing pistachio noted I’ve uploaded a picture after microwaving and taking one bite so disregard the messy presentation I unraveled it after the bite. They should change the name to cannoli chocolate or something because no where did I notice caramel or cannoli just a bunch of stuff that looks and tasted like nutella.

Cute place. Plenty of parking, lots of seating. [Though we still waited 15 minutes, we used that time to overlook a menu and choose our breakfast. They also give you the opportunity to wait in the car. They text when your table is ready.] Our server was really fun and made our experience better. Food was just ok to be honest, but since everything else was great I gave it 5 stars anyway. Wish I could do 4.5, but I digress. Coffee was DELICIOUS. Ask for the coffee menu. It's separate! And there are plenty of options there as well. I recommend a Frappe (I chose pumpkin, yum). The texture was unique. It truly was whipped, light and an experience in its own right.
Like I said, food was nothing special but definitely edible. I've had better I've had worse. I would come back just for that frappe! Had more caffeine in it than I would have expected.
Food note: hollandaise has no tang like I'm used to and enjoy, gravy on the biscuits and gravy was [black] PEPPERy. Hard to enjoy. And ask for minimal oil/dry if you're getting a skillet. You'll be happy you did.

First time there. I will recommend it to others and I WILL go back. All good from walking to leaving. I got in just after 7am when they open. Just a few other tables taken. I was seated quickly by the pleasant hostess and given a menu. Side note if you have reading glasses bring them. The menu print is very small. My coffee was filled as needed and it was decent quality not watered down. Food cam out hot and as I ordered it. Good multi grain bread. The spicy blackberry jam was excellent. Thank you to my servers suggesion for the jam. Started sweet with just a hint of pepper on the back end. I did the big easy skillet and actually left a few bites because I was so full. Great portion. I didn't even add any salt or pepper because I knew there would be enough seasoning with all the ingredients in there.
I'm full and want to take a nap now.

I am from IN but when wanting a good brunch, or something different I always go to Chicago. Unfortunately, we do not have many options here for a good brunch and vibe, just something unique.
BUT THIS PLACE HERE, Changed the game!!
It saves me the trip of going to Chicago. I come here just about every Sunday. From the amazing service, food and the vibes that are consistently provided, I am a keeper!
This is a hidden gem, a breakfast place that does not taste basic. They have a BAR, customized coffee drinks that you can’t get anywhere. That is another reason why I come here. See for yourself but I had to leave this review for someone who may be like myself who is in search of a good, local brunch spot. This is the place!
When I say that the staff goes above and beyond they do, which is rare to find in restaurants around here.

This is by far the best breakfast place around. We decided to start seeking out a new restaurant to eat at om Sundays after church. A quick google search and this place popped up. We get there and we are told it's a 35 minute wait. A patron walks in and states how worth the wait it is. Well boy was he right!! I decided to try something different than my usual, so I ordered the cannoli pancakes. Wow!! Amazing!! The marscapone was delicious. My husband had biscuits and gravy with his meal. By far the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The decor was beautiful. I loved the rustic farmhouse look. Everything from the food to decor to the excellent wait staff. We will happily be back. Thank you!! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars on this establishment.
