My Southern Hospitality go to n the Mitten. as I am from Texas and have lived in NC and VA. I miss the true hospitality over yonder and down there. The way Yogi’s welcomes this stranger/ newcomer is mighty kind. Their food hits the spot every single time. And their coffee is spot on for this lady who loves the smooth coffee I used to live on from the Waffle House during all those all nighter cram seshs for Unie or after a night out. If you are looking for a pretty country drive last lasts minutes, are after filling comfort food and friendly service, head on over to Yogi’s in Vicksburg.

Came here with my fiance and some of her family for breakfast today. My fiance and I split a Royal Canadian and two chocolate chip pancakes. The food was honestly better than I thought, the Royal Canadian especially. The hollandaise sauce was good, and the eggs were cooked well too. At first glance it doesn't look like a lot, but it's pretty hardy. I would definitely come back 😊

In foreground of photo, ham omelet with hash browns (held the Hollandaise sauce) and a pancake subbed for toast. In back of photo, a 3-meat omelet, pancake subbed for toast, and a side of American fries. Delicious!! Also had a slice of their homemade apple pie 🥧 (only half of slice in photo. Ate the rest!). Fabulous!! Bet it would have been even better warmed slightly.

We scheduled our yearly Xmas Family " meet up" there. Was told when we made our reservation that they couldn't handle 15-20 people at 9:30 AM on a Sunday. So they suggested we set the time for 1:30 PM. We agreed to help them out. Only to find out when we arrived that they were only open until 2:00 PM. We got served very quickly after we ordered, BUT 3 of the meals were not good atall. Being the Perch Dinner, The California Rueben and the Patty Melt. Sandwiches were burnt. Cook came out and asked if everything was alright? Being the nice people we are, we didn't tell how we really felt. Meanwhile everyone was packing up trash, vacuuming, performing closing duties. It was pretty dissapointing since this side of the family only meets up once a year. You can bet we won't be back next year. We surely should have been informed of the closing time. We would have found somewhere else immediately. 15 people were dissapointed! Think about that...

Staff super nice and friendly, got our dinners in a timely fashion. The food - ewwwww. I ordered the country fried steak. The steak was very noticeably frozen (The kind you can get out of a TV dinner). Basically it was a heat and serve. Not the usual standard that I expect, especially for the price. I understand in these trying times that businesses needed to raise their prices and I expect to pay more. But I also expect quality food, not something I could get for 3 bucks at the local supermarket. The vegetable (green beans) lacked flavor. They were frozen and you could tell, which I prefer to can, but there was NO seasoning, NO butter, just a pile of Frozen crunchy semi cold beans. The mashed potatoes were bland and flavorless. Even if they would have put some of the sausage gravy on the potatoes it would have added flavor. I guess if you want an expensive low quality meal, this is the...

It’s a cute little hometown dinner. It has that small town feel that a lot of people enjoy. The food is okay, there wasn’t anything that stood out a ton about the food. It is kind of a cramped place, if you want to have a private conversation it’s not happening and it could definitely use a good cleaning in the bathrooms. I had 2 big issues this time around. The 1st one was the waitress was very pushy, she kept coming around every minute to see if I was ready to order. And number 2. The only flavor my omelette really had was SALT. also got a roast beef sandwich with au ju and I wouldn’t recommend that because honestly you can better one at arbys for half the cost. I think this place really only has the hometown feel...
