Oh my!! This place is a hidden gem. First time at Fat Head’s. Had a wonderful lunch, great service and food. When you walk in be ready to step back in time with decor of yesteryear on the walls with photos, memorabilia and even an old working feed mill scale. We were greeted with a friendly server allowing us first timers yo peruse the menu but wasn’t afraid to help us narrow our picks to the very best choices and she didn’t disappoint!! She also was right there from time to time always keeping our drinks filled yo the rim but hardly noticed her hustling to make our experience the best ever!! The food was served fast hot and most flavorful-I love hot fries and these guys know how to make ‘em sizzle! Our friend and I had the Fat Heads Burger which is a hand packed oblong burger hanging off the bun at least an inch on both sides with tomato, lettuce, onions, Mayo , bacon and cheese. The burger was done perfectly and the bacon followed suite. The vegetables were fresh-crunchy onions and moist tomato and lettuce. As I said the fries were spectacular!! My wife had the fold over and it was jammed with meats, cheese and veggies inside a delectable mouthwatering warm crust!! Get ready for nostalgia, pampering and a meal you won’t soon forget!! This is a place you’ll want to go daily but never miss weekly if you are a local. We live about 45 -60 minutes away but will definitely have this one on our top ten must do list!! Can’t believe I forgot to take some photos but “we’ll be back” and I’ll add...
Read moreWent to fat heads tonight. For dinner gotta there at 6 PM got seated at 6:10 PM. 7:25 PM. She finally brought our stuff and I said well, it took long enough. It was about an hour to get our food. And she said sorry, we have a long wait. It's on the weekend. I said well, shouldn't it took that long? She wanted to argue. I told her people that got there after us got their food first. That's not right. She asked everybody else if they want Refills on drinks, but me. so when we went to go pay for our food. I was telling the people up front how she was doing us. And she come up front of everybody and yelled at me and said if you didn't like it here don't come through the week end. and I said you're very rude and you do not have no place doing that. I will not go back. You don't want a business like that. . and I will tell everybody about this place. When I went outside, there were other people complaining about this one waitress with a short attitude. You don't run a restaurant like that and let her embarrass people. She thought she was the owner. I don't know she was or not, but she was not very nice. She was upset because they were very busy. She had a short Attitude with a lot of her customers. And no I did not leave her a tip. She does not deserve to be a winter's.
with a lot of people. She is not served to be a waitress. Yes, I do leave a very good tip but this...
Read moreWe love promoting locally owner and operated business. We 1st ordered 2 weeks ago. Way better than this Friday's experience. Only thing we didn't care for was the sausage on the pizza. So thus the 2nd order... we chose a simple med.cheese pizza and parm fries. Understandable busy night, waited for the food that was to be ready for pick up. Got home 3 blocks away. And the horror when I opened the pizza box.the pizza was cut in squares and slices ,mushy and stuck to the box. With effort I scarped it up only to find the bottom layer of second very burnt, hard pizza stuck in larger chunks in our mushy mess. The parm. fries where Ice cold with what looked to be clarified butter gloped on it with a sprinkle powder cheese. Got very ill after eating a couple of the fries tasted funny and I was sick through the night. I'm the only one that try the fries and unfortunately our dog how was being a dog and trying to cleaning up after mom🤮 :( she also had vomiting and Diarrhea. My husband and son cleaned the burnt chunks off and finished baking , was a big mess. We don't get take out often,But when we do it will not be here. It was really like 2 different places! Maybe...
