People say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in this area, but the food seems geared towards Midwestern tastes as opposed to being authentic Mexican food. Unless the recipes were altered to be more authentic, this restaurant would not make it in the Southwest or West Coast. however, for the area, it was good. Many of their dishes feature a white queso sauce that is okay, but kind of bland by Southwestern standards. These rednecks appreciate how lucky they are to have this amazing Mexican restaurant so close to them my wife and I have lived on the border of Mexico in Arizona for over 20 years and on top of that both of us are restaurant consultants so it's safe to say that we don't need a Taco Bell LOL we're super picky gringos when it comes to our Mexican food or any food in that manner! The food was ok but the service was terrible. One guy took our order, then disappeared. He showed up later eating his lunch at a nearby booth.
